ACIS does a fabulous job of providing a quality, educational experience for travelers. Hotel accommodations, meals and Tour Managers are first class. I would highly recommend this company to any teacher seeking a European tour.

I will not travel with a different company. My experience with ACIS has always been excellent and I refer them to other teachers as often as possible.

I have taken 4 different trips with ACIS and each one has been absolutely exceptional. My trips have been to Turkey, Italy-Solvenia-Croatia, Spain, and Peru. The prepared itineraries make an authentic effort to teach student travelers about the local history, culture, food, music, dancing, art, architecture, etc - in other words, it is more than just museums. My guides have consistently gone above and beyond to cater to our personal interests. Whether it is taking us salsa dancing or playing in a soccer game against locals, they truly aim to please.

ACIS is the best travel company out there for students. They are extremely thorough and make you feel secure traveling abroad with kids.

I have traveled with ACIS on many trips and have had great experiences. We had great hotels, meals and tour guide. This year there have been a few things that did not go as smoothly as in the past. A passenger trying to get a reduced rate 4 days after the deadline that was over spring break was denied. In the past that was handled with no issue. We had to share a tour guide and bus with a group of 20 that lead to some challenges along the way as the tour guide got pulled in multiple directions. Our bus tour of London was canceled and no replacement activity was provided. The connecting flight on the way home was frustrating as another Chicago group was provided a direct flight. On top of that the Airline canceled out tickets in Charlotte thinking we would not make the connection. We had been sitting in the terminal at least a half hour before boarding. When calling the ACIS emergency # in Rome when the airline thought they would need to stop in Bangor Maine the number was not working. Overall ACIS is a top notch company and we have never run into issues like we did this year. Hopefully this was an just "one of those years" where things went goofy.

I travel with a group of middle school kids and our trip was amazing! The hotels, the food, the itinerary, and especially our tour manager and the ACIS staff were above and beyond our expectations. While we were in France there was a train strike, but through the hard work of our tour manager, Zayneb, and the ACIS staff, they had everything worked out for alternate transportation so that everything with the trip flowed seamlessly. I would recommend ACIS (and did to several other groups we saw traveling) to every school considering an overseas trip as a learning opportunity for their students.

The tour was great!!! The hotels were great and in the BEST locations. The restaurants were pretty good. The first contact (Julie) was fantastic. Our second contact (Amy) was fine but often had wrong information or took a long time to look up the information. Our tour manager was very nice and sweet and she tried, but she was not very good. Her directions to the group would change and confuse them, she would ask the students opinions instead of just leading them as per the group leader/tour manager decisions that were already made, she didn't know where she was going at many times and we would get lost and have to back track. There were many other small issues also. She tried her best, but many of the participants lost confidence in her. She seemed like this was new to her and lacked experience.

I took a group of 32 to Italy over spring break. This is my second trip with ACIS, and my 6th international trip. ACIS is better than the other two companies I’ve used, in every way! Food, hotels, tour guides, service, support. LOVE them!

Love, love, love everything about ACIS!! I would not travel with students unless I was working with them. ACIS makes traveling with high school students more then enjoyable. This was my third trip and it was a charm

Our Tour Manager accommodated our wishes beautifully and was prudent in suggesting changes when necessary. She was well prepared for her introductions to sights we were visiting. And she was always pleasant and friendly.

Phenomenal Experience! Students and staff are still talking about the wonderful trip we took to Bavaria. The hotels, meals, guide and excursions were all superior. Students learned so much and grew tremendously throughout the week. Can't wait to plan our next student trip.

I have been travelling with ACIS since 2011 and have had zero regrets since switching from a rival tour company. ACIS offers the best experience for students and at a reasonable price! Their Chicago and Boston offices are friendly and incredibly helpful in answering any questions that may come up throughout the planning process as well as at any point on the actual trip. Highly recommended!

The softball coach who signed up to take us to Australia in July 2018 had to back out due to insufficient players. We did not sign up to go with unfamiliar coaches and players. We cancelled with 180 days notice due to the coach cancelling. Not our fault. ACIS refuses to give us all of our money back even with 180 days notice. Be very careful you don't "get baited and switched". Refund policy is onerous.

Knowledgeable & experience guide. Nice hotels close to main attractions. Food was authentic, good portions, and healthy.

Once we landed in our first destination, the trip was utterly phenomenal from start to finish. The accommodations were great. All the activities occurred seamlessly, There was a perfect balance between planned events and free time to discover the wonders of the places we were visiting. Above all, our tour manager went out of his way to assure we all had a unique experience creating opportunities to see places that weren't in our itinerary and making sure he met the individual needs of the tour members. The four star rating was given for two reasons: 1) Flights were unfortunately not setup appropriately, and it became a he said/she said issue between the airline and ACIS (three members of our group could not get on the initial connecting flight). 2) It was unanimously agreed that the best food eaten on the trip was during lunches when you could find your own food. The scheduled meals, though well planned and multiple courses, were often average.

Lorna was quite knowledgeable as a guide, and Ricardo was a friendly and accommodating bus driver. Some of our hotel bookings were not great, although that was rectified once we made our frustration known. Americans should be booked in hotels in the summer that have air conditioning.
