Having traveled with several educational tour companies, I can attest that ACIS rises to the top of the heap. They excel in customer service, and provide the most in-depth educational experiences for students. Accommodations exceed expectations, and are in central locations. Every guide I have had has been extremely knowledgable, and related well with my students and adult chaperones. I keep coming back to ACIS and they continue to impress.

My trip was incredibly well managed. My students and I had an extraordinary experience with every detail having been arranged in advance. The daily excursions were eye opening, enjoyable and we discovered so much. Our tour guide kept us motivated and engaged and was very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend ACIS for academic travels.

Our trip went very smoothly. The company provided help and support whenever we needed it, and our representative was very prompt in addressing issues and difficulties. Our assigned tour guide was very knowledgeable and orderly. We had no delays, and were even able to fit a few additional things into our trip that were not specifically scheduled. The food and hotels were very good. Highly recommended!

The hotels were all conveniently and centrally located, while my students appreciated the excellent venues chosen for our meals. Our trip to Bavaria, Tyrol and Switzerland was amazing! I honestly couldn't have asked for a better experience for our students. This is the first trip I have lead and the second trip I have chaperoned with ACIS. Our Tour Manager, Simon Dupree, really made our trip a wonderful experience for all. He was everything you would want in a tour manager-extremely knowledgeable, funny, energetic, patient, enthusiastic.....always going above and beyond my expectations! Even with a last minute change in one of our hotels, Simon handled this change very professionally assuring me that the new hotel was an upgrade from our original hotel, which it was. I would also like to commend Tom Heigham at ACIS for his guidance and support throughout the planning of our trip. He was always available to answer all of my many questions and offered excellent support to me throughout the entire process of planning my first trip with ACIS. I have had several students comment this past week that the trip was the "best experience of their lives". One student even commented that she is planning on doing a study abroad in Germany while in college due to her positive experience on the trip.

Over Spring Break I led a trip to Paris, Barcelona, and Madrid, with a day trip to Toledo. It was a wonderful trip! Our tour manager, Oihana, was perfect. She knows the languages. She is well informed on the history and culture of the cities. She knows her way around extremely well. She obviously spent a lot of time planning where we would go, how we would get there, and when we would see everything. She was such a part of our lives that it was sad to leave her when she took us to the airport to return home. This was my third trip with ACIS. As usual, our hotels were in good locations. Most of our dinners were 3 course meals. One night we had tapas at two different restaurants. Our lunch in Toledo was very elegant with a beautiful view. Meals were interesting and educational. If someone couldn’t eat something, substitutions were made without a problem. We had bus tours with city guides in Paris, Barcelona, and Madrid, and a guided tour of the Prado museum. We had a wonderful guide in Toledo as well. Everything was well planned and went smoothly. ACIS is also flexible. Most of our group wanted to see the Catacombs of Paris so our tour manager fit it into our itinerary. It was a highlight of the trip! Other highlights included seeing the Eiffel Tower sparkle from the top of the Arc de Triomphe, ascending the Eiffel Tower at night, students wading into the cold Mediterranean in Barcelona, going inside Sagrada Familia, trying tapas in the markets of Barcelona and Madrid, watching street performers in Madrid, and visiting beautiful Toledo including the amazing cathedral. Some of us also got to see the Opéra Garnier in Paris while others dined and shopped. I have met a few ACIS employees over the years at conferences here in Ohio and while travelling. I had coffee and lunch with Amy from Boston while in Paris this trip. I have enjoyed working with both Jill and Morgan to plan our trips. I met Peter, the owner, at an event in Cleveland a few years ago. ACIS is a wonderful company with happy employees, and I highly recommend traveling with them.

This tour was absolutely fantastic. Lara Corner is a wonderful tour manager. Although Europe is changing fast, our students were able to capture memorable moments.

We have traveled with ACIS for 30 + years because, quite simply, they are the best. The hotels are 3 and 4 stars in the best locations. The meals are a minimum of 3 courses and are usually representative of the local cuisine. The tour guides are professional tour guides, not university students on their own holiday. ACIS cares about your experience from your pre-departure planning, through your entire trip and, as evidence of this review, your opinions following your trip. ACIS works constantly to better their service and your travel experience. ACIS is the best in the travel industry and never disappoints.

Recently traveled to Japan with ACIS. This was my second trip with them, and I will definitely use them in the future. Their guides and accommodations are first-rate and the personal, immediate customer service is top-notch. On both trips, we have encountered groups from rival companies that seemed to be experiencing considerable difficulties. (Tour leader absent, lower standards for student behavior, etc.) You get what you pay for, and travel experiences like the ones I have had with ACIS are invaluable!

Every single aspect of the trip from day one of selecting it to the registration to the booking of flights and hotels to the A++ tour managers is fanFREAKING tastic! Questions are answered in very timely manners. Concerns are never taken for granted. Flexibility is great! Quality is THE best!

We had rough start due to the airlines cancelling our flights. Once the trip started the ACIS tour company did everything they could to correct all our problems. We also had students get sick on our trip and once again they did a great job accommodating all our needs to make sure our students had a great time.

ACIS is the only company I would ever use to plan and execute trips for youth. They are attentive to detail and keep security and needs in mind with all planning details.

The students completely and utterly enjoyed their experience in Spain with ACIS. All of the planned activities were very interesting and culture based. Great experience overall!

This was my first ever trip abroad with students and I am so relieved that I chose ACIS! We had an amazing experience from the time we started planning, to the time we arrived back on US soil! The students cannot stop raving about how much fun they had on the trip, and their parents are absolutely thrilled!

I have traveled with ACIS for over 15 years. After horrendous experiences with other student travel companies I tried ACIS at the recommendation of a friend.The level of professionalism, enthusiasm and knowledge is astounding. My ACIS rep is ALWAYS available to me, returning calls or emails within 30 minutes. The itineraries are jam packed with fantastic sites and activities and the tour managers are always able to find those special places and things to do in addition to the plan! When emergencies arise, and they always do when you travel with students, ACIS personnel are immediately available...a student broke her arm cast...ACIS arranged for a doctor to come to our hotel and repair it! My husband was hospitalized after a severe allergic reaction, ACIS handled the hospital paperwork, provided alternative transportation for my husband and I to catch up to the group after an overnight stay. The students and assistant group leader never missed a step of our itinerary! Phenomenal travel staff, knowledgeable and fun tour guides, top rated hotels and restaurants, availability of travel assistance, guidance and information.....ACIS simply cannot be beat for student travel. I will never travel with any other company.

The trip had us at a hotel that was not located near anything that students could do...students were back at the hotel by 5 p.m. with NOTHING to do for the rest of the evening. The hotel for the first 3 nights was in the middle of nowhere. 4 out of 5 dinner meals were at the hotel...where students would have preferred to have experienced more of a "taste" of Iceland as various restaurants. We could have had a direct flight of 6 hours, instead we spent 14 hours at the airport just to travel from Chicago to New York and from New York to Iceland and the same in reverse. Checking luggage, collecting luggage, security lines..customs, collecting luggage, rechecking luggage,...all very unnecessary and frustrating giving that you have to keep track of students. It appears to me that ACIS did what ever it could to save money on this trip. Attention to details and making it an "exceptional educational journey --not ordinary tours" as they advertise...and their promise "...pushing the experience from 'good enough' to exceptional is what we do everyday." fell very, very short for this trip. I am left feeling very disappointed and sorry for the students who paid so much money for a "sub-par" trip.

What a great trip to Italy! Our tour manger was excellent and took us to some off the beaten path streets and locations in Rome and Venice. The food each night was very good and the variety of Italian food was great too. My students learned so much about ancient Pompeii, ancient and modern Rome, Florence and Venice. All of our hotels were centrally located and a short distance to each city center. Our tour bus had USB ports and was very clean and always on time. All of my students felt that they had learned so much and wanted to visit or study in Italy in the future.

We had a great time on our trip last weekend! Our tour guide Steve was wonderful, knowledgeable and funny as we trekked across France. We are from the Central Florida area and usually leave out of Jacksonville but we are closer to Orlando and Daytona Beach Airport. We would love it if we could depart from one of those airports in the future, if possible?
