Very bad costumer service. I don't think these guys know what they are doing, very unhelpful and they just lost a costumer from their poor communication.

Straight forward process
Very quick, easy to complete and no messing around.
Worst company i've ever dealt with. Portal is a disaster. Needed to cancel after 4 months cover and paying premiums monthly. charged for future months cover + cancellation fee of £45 together with an intermediary charge of £35. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY! A 35 minute phone call to obtain an invoice of charges and reluctantly they agreed although still waiting.
Terrible experience today by the Webchat - First it took me over 30 minutes for the Webchat to actually load. Then I spoke with an agent called Shannon, who said it would cost £150 to change my Surname!! How an insurance company can try a charge this price is beyond me. I then asked to have someone call me to discuss this and apparently this also isn't an option. Just to hit the nail on the head - she ends the chat!! Strongly advise not to use this insurance company as they just try to make money out of you.
Had to leave 1 star as it won't let me leave none. Simply don't bother 3 phone calls asking for me to contact them and on hold for ages. Won't accept proof of no claims sent in also wanted proof of no claims from other vehicle policy's as I also have a car policy and 2 motorcycle policy's. In the end I just told them.to cancel the policy which had not started and paid the £25 setup/ admin fee,let's see how long it takes for the refund.
Good price, no fuss.
I have been with Zenith since April and had no issues. I have then gone to insure a new van, so swap my policy with them, given them a date and gone ahead. When I have tried to change the date I am told it's not their policy and I said well I have 14 days to cancel and they said I don't. I then asked to escalate to a manager and have been cut off twice. Great customer service Zenith!!! Since this review Zenith have been in touch and a very helpful and pleasant representative called Leanne turned things around for me. I have amended my review level to reflect this. The first advisor is going to be helped with his training and I now have a policy that works for me. Thank you.
It was completed really quick and easy
Asked for extra information after the policy started, said they didn’t receive the documents then cancelled the insurance. Called them up and stated they would reactivate the policy then emailed to say I would have to get new quote and start again. Stay clear.

Having taken out car insurance with Zenith I need to amend my policy as I was having PPF professionally applied to my car. Zenith refused to insure the modification (30 other companies were happy to do so at a small and understandable premium increase). Zenith informed me that the policy would have to be cancelled and charged £105 in fees for the privilege. These fees are extortionate for a decision that wasn’t mine. Read my experience and make up your own mind about this company. As per Zenith reply Laura rang today, 22.07.25, and made an acceptable offer of refund. The service from Laura was 5 star but I have only upgraded my one star review to 3 stars because still disappointed Zenith felt unable to insure my modification
Asked for proof of zero years' no claims discount, then for proof of other vehicle NCD, provided via email and portal. After 2 hours of phone calls had to cancel the insurance and accept nealry 50% loss of cost paid
After being directed to Zenith website from a comparison site, the process was simple and quick.
I had a car accident almost 3 weeks ago and I still haven’t got a courtesy car. They keep passing me on to their underwriter, Marker study. I need to go to work in a remote area and it’s such an inconvenience to take 2hrs to work on the train, with school drop offs etc!

We completed repairs for this insurance company in March 2025 and it is now July and we still have not got paid - Have chased them a few times and chased again and today, only to have the call hung up on us. We do not face this issue with other insurance companies. Please be aware when you do work for this insurance company
