I've had contaminated water since March. No-one cares

I've had contaminated water since March. RedRock my maintenance company are crooks. Southern Water came out on the 19th of June. They said my water is contaminated. I asked for written proof. They won't give it to me. I need it for The Drinking Water Inspectorate after they won't do anything to help. I now need it to make a complaint to them. Everyone's corrupt. Southern Water text me a short while later. They gave me a new reference no. That's trying to cover up the fact that they have done nothing. I'm OK with that. I don't mind drinking Faeces, bathing in faeces, washing my clothes in faeces. It's totally fine. No problem. You carry on pretending to function as a proper company. Who owns you?

Exceptional service from James Thompson

James Thompson went above and beyond yesterday to assist four neighbouring properties that were without water. He took the time to inform us all about the cause of the problem and clearly explained next steps. When a Council representative arrived at a neighbour's property, James assisted him as well which he did not need to do. I was completely in the dark about what was going on and had no update from the Council who was unable to fix the water issue and left without an explanation. Thankfully, James later came to my door with a full update, which I really appreciated. He was professional, caring and provided excellent customer service.

Query with payment

Query with payment - as their computer system decided to cancel the direct debit, either that or there was a foul up with the bank. I did complain, because of the resulting naff letters. But the complaints team resolved it promptly, and gave me a goodwill gesture. Thank you for sorting it out. Its was doing my noodle in! lol

Nothing but lip service.

This company has promised 4 times to deliver water to a vulnerable customer, listed with them as a priority. As there is little or no water I have telephoned 4 times and each time told there would be a delivery. The scripted lip service from this company beggars belief. Having made a complaint, I was told I would be contacted. No one has contacted me. You couldn't get a worse response if you tried.

Great Service

Reported a problem with waste water and other unmentionables coming up from manhole in Garden. Very professional lady, Siobhan, on the help line, explained next steps. Within an hour, Alfie, the engineer was on site, diagnosed the problem, and cleared the blockage. Top service from Southern Water, thank you very much.

I have a blocked drain in my garden…

I have a blocked drain in my garden blocked three times now on a six week period . Needs further details nvestigation . Waiting for southern water to contact me . I am carer for my sister who suffers with her mental health . Would appreciate a full report on the way forward to stop this happening

I keep getting emails with a stupid mistake - are they genuine??

I keep getting emails, apparently from Southern Water, that say: "If you’re struggling to pay, there are plenty of ways we cant help just get in touch to understand your options." Plenty of ways they can't help??? - this mistake makes me doubt it's genuine. I've told them this bill is for my aunt and that her finances are dealt with by her solicitor and sent them his details. I don't know if this is a scammer, because of the stupid mistake, or genuine, but I'm being ignored - either way I'm starting to feel harrassed.

Water leaks are an unfortunate inconvenience, apparently.

Reported quite a serious leak at the retail park where I work on the 17th of May, 2021. The leak is losing roughly about 20 gallons per minute, so not just a small trickle. Followed up on the 20th, as nobody had been to assess the leak. As of today, 22nd of may, still no attendance, and water still pouring out of the embankment. Get your act together Southern Water, as you keep telling customers to conserve water. PRACTICE WHAT YOU PREACH!

Fot the 5th time in 8 years southern…

Fot the 5th time in 8 years southern water has cancelled the direct debit they set up and are now sending bailiffs round AGAIN. this is going to cost me money i should be spending on charges because southern water are completely useless as a company. they refuse to send me a monthly payment card i do not know the reason why, been asking for over 4 years. is there another water company i can change too. really sick of these clowns.
