Hilton Hotels corporate.

Hilton Hotels corporate offices and properties in general do not appreciate or honour the loyalty of their longtime customers! I have been a Hilton Honours member for 30+ years. In that time a acheived Diamond status because of my loyalty. Now that I'm retired and am not able to travel as much, Hilton has elected to demote me, rather than thank me for those years of loyalty!! So much for loyalty. Time to look at other hotel options in future. Tom Krebs

Disappointing Stays

In the last few weeks, we stayed at 3 Hilton Hotels. As a Gold member, I was rather disappointed with a few things. First, when I had to travel unexpectedly, I went to get a hotel room and all the rooms were booked, which seemed strange for a Monday evening. When I did find a hotel, the receptionist said one room was available and I said I will take it. As we were talking, all of a sudden, the receptionist said there are no rooms available. Very strange a room available suddenly becomes available. Fortunately, I was able to find another hotel, but the prices I had a pay for a small sandwich and a couple of cookies was absolutely ridiculous! I would have eaten somewhere else, but it was rather late and other places were closed. My family and I went on vacation and we stayed at 2 different Hilton hotels. The first hotel had a beautiful view. Breakfast though was very disappointing at both hotels. For a hot breakfast, there was an additional charge of $15. This was ridiculous for a family, per person per day. There was a decent cold selection at the first hotel we stayed at, where the continental breakfast served hot oatmeal and along with a variety of cold items. There were only 2 cereal choices, neither of which was acceptable for my children. At the second hotel we stayed at, the continental breakfast selection was much worse. My kids could only eat the fruit. There was nothing hot available for the continental selection. This was disappointing as a Gold member, since my family and I could have stayed at other hotels and been able to enjoy a hot selection of food for a continental breakfast. We also had to provide our room number before entering the dining area at one hotel and the second hotel gave us vouchers for breakfast. With the vouchers, we were able to go to the café and Starbucks in the hotel. The Moon café was great, where I got a hot sandwich and a coffee. We went to Starbucks, which the choice included a coffee and a muffin/banana bread, but they were all out of the treats and when my wife asked about a substitution, they said they are not allowed. They would not substitute one of their other treats so we could give it to our children. Both hotels also charged for pool towels if they were not returned.

Hilton Hotel's CEO & fraud team ignore possible fraud

My data has been used to create a reservation and bill at a Hilton hotel. I have provided evidence of this to Hilton's fraud office and their response is "Please be assured that this activity does not have any bearing on the integrity of our systems", How then have they been able to generate a reservation and bill? They refuse to investigate or to answer questions. In response to my request to cancel my account I am given instructions on changing my password and setting up secondary verification.

Liverpool one Hilton a total dump

Stayed here around 21st June - Liverpool one hilton, worst hilton ever stayed in. Air condition blowing hot air, 30 degrees in room. Not just unbearably uncomfortable but dangerous. Had to complain multiple times before we could change rooms, treated by reception as nuisance for this. New room air conditioning barely worked. Asked other guests - all said the same thing that Rooms are extremely stuffy and air con barely working. Multiple receptionists rude with a couldn’t care less about helping you attitude. Male receptionists in particular extremely nasty and hostile, not even subtle about it. Compared to previous visits they have now removed fridges from rooms, no more unlimited water (unacceptable for a 4 star), there is now a notice in the room saying you have to pay if you take a can. No more ice. No working air conditioning. They have taken away every comfort possible. Even the executive lounge doesn’t have any bottled water. Disgraceful.

Keep up the great work!!

I wanted to take the time to write about this amazing chain of hotels after seeing average reviews. I am a diamond Hilton member and the quality of service is impeccable. They always go beyond the call of duty to help and have some of the best hotels around with a real good value for money. I have stayed at many different Hilton’s and have rarely had any issues. Even when issues arose they were dealt with the highest degree of professionalism. Keep up the good work!

Great hotel.for terminal 2 flights.

Advice: this hotel is new, so many taxi drivers do not know where it is, and might try to take you to the main Hilton. Tell.them it.is on Damascus street, next to Dubai Grand Hotel, and then they will know where to go. If they play dumb, call the hotel.and get directions. I have stayed twice at the Hampton by Hilton in Dubai, and recommend it for its lone eco-friendly position amongst the airport hotels.in this city. This hotel has no tiny plastic bottles of toiletries nor cakes of soap to waste; it uses dispenser bottles.of high quality product. There are plenty of power points and wi-Fi points to charge your devices, the room.is clean and comfortable, staff are good. Wi-fi is fast and free in all locations. The breakfast is pretty good - it is automatically free with every booking. The dinner buffet is not so good - best to eat out if you can. The hotel is near terminal 2, and there are shuttle services to all terminals, but check the times they go. Unfortunately there is nothing really around this hotel in the way of western-friendly restaurants. Best to take a cab into Festival city for good eats. This is not a 5-star hotel, but for cheap.prices and a good comfortable stay, especially if you are flying in/out of Dubai terminal 2, it is recommended.

Hilton Reading

Be careful if you are checking in at the weekend. Although check-in is at 3pm the room was not ready until after 3.30 and the excuse given was there were a lot of late check outs. We had been travelling for two and a half hours and needed to be ready for a reception starting at 5pm. Disappointing as the standard of the Hilton hotels is normally exceptional.

I stayed at the Hampton by Hilton…

I stayed at the Hampton by Hilton hotel, Oxford. They advertised free car parking for residents. I signed in my car registration details on arrival. When I left, I was sent a parking bill for £100.00 by the car park company and when I queried this with the hotel they were totally disinterested and told me to contact the company direct, I believe the hotel was in COLLUSION with the car park and have found a way to dupe the unsuspecting motorist out of a £100.00 charge. BEWARE PEOPLE. This is the next best thing fraud, with the hotel being a party to it. I WILL NEVER STAY AT THIS HOTEL OR ANY HILTON, AGAIN.

Great Hotel for convenience

Hilton East Midlands Airport Great Hotel and very clean. When you walk into the lobby you are greeted by friendly staff to check you in. It has a lovely lounge area where you can chill and relax before your flight. We had breakfast which was £12pp, This contained of Hot Breakfast buffets, cereals, pastries, toast, smoothies and fresh fruit. There was tea, coffee and fresh juices available. The room was a double guest room which was very spacious and clean. The bed was comfy and in the room had all the necessities such as a hair dryer, iron, ironing board, kettle with mugs, glasses, tea and coffee. The internet was very fast and reliable and is a work station downstairs to use macs and computers which are provided if you needed any forms printing out for travel. The internet is free during your stay only if you are a Hilton Honours Member which is free to join when you arrive at the hotel. Otherwise you get charged. Car parking is £5 per day to park. There are great facilities there such as a gym and swimming pool. A great thhing which we have not seen before is a rental counter inside the hotel for you to help your make your travel alot easier. However we did come to some issues such as things broken in the bathroom and the boiler had broken down which was a concern especially if you needed a shower before traveling. If we wanted hot water we had to boil the kettle. However this was out of Hiltons hands a was a mechanical issue we know how boilers break. They resolved this and gave us compensation when we checked out. Great staff and the Office Manager Carlos was brilliant. We would stay here again and would highly recommend it. Wonderful hotels

Staff have been wonderful at the hotels in Gateshead, Edinburgh and York. Will be staying in the Piccadilly Manchester hotel the end of this week and one in Glasgow next month. Rooms are always spotless and staff are always willing to help with any queries. Breakfasts are delicious and lots of different options for this. Will continue staying here.

Very friendly & attentive staff at the…

Very friendly & attentive staff at the Hilton in Watford, made our stay thoroughly enjoyable. Just a 10 minute drive away to Warner Bros Studio Tour. When checking in, not only did we get complimentary drinks while we waited for our room but after mentioning that we were going to the studios, unbeknown to us he arranged some free Harry Potter merchandise for our girls too. A lovely gesture & surprise.

Amazing

Incredible experience here, the staff were to a great degree lovely, accommodating and gracious. The room was flawless, truly clean lodging and the house keepers went well beyond to make our room look shining with little included touches. The pool zone was fabulous, with a swim up pool and a lot of space to unwind. The nourishment was amazing as well, the gourmet specialist's were close by to make essentially anything you needed. Would remain here again whenever
