The new classless "first class"…

I used to always enjoy flying first class but American Airlines took first class to a very "classless level". On a 5 hour trip to Vegas they served woke sandwiches covered with in saranwrap, packages of snacks and let a train of coach customers use the bathroom. We fly coach now, bring our own snacks and use the concourse bathroom before take off.

A great full passenger

I fly American Airlines 90% of the times I need to fly. Most of the flights are on time and they do what they can do accommodate their passengers. Of course the one and true thing that I care about is safety. It’s nice to have a snack a smile and a helpful hand, but taking off and landing safely is never forgotten about!

Pretty good

They have lots of movies and their food is ok. Not been delayed. They do emphasise a lot that you’ve booked the cheap option with them though. The rich and poor are clearly separated with them. Even by email. I like flying with them though.

American Airlines is Excellent

I have been using American Airlines for at least 12 years now.and have had excellent service with them. Several months ago I flew transcontinental and I had to change my ticket three times. They were very helpful and there were no additional charges.

Freundliche Airline mit außerordentlich gutem Kundenservice

Fliege sehr gerne mit US Airways, im August zum 3. mal in der Economy-Class. Keinerlei Probleme, freundliches Personal mit nie verschwindendem Lächeln. Man fühlt sich wunderbar umsorgt und hat keinerlei Hemmungen die Flugbegleiter(innen) anzusprechen. Egal was man fragt oder worum man bittet: Reagiert wird als ob es eine Selbstverständlichkeit sei, dass man als verfrorenes Wesen wie ich bitte zwei Decken braucht. Auffällig ist auch wie oft man Getränke angeboten bekommt. Die Flugbegleiter(innen) sind häufiger als bei anderen vergleichbaren Airlines mit gefüllten Bechern durch die Reihen gelaufen. Sehr löblich! An dieser Stelle ist auch zu sagen, dass der Kaffee an Bord schmeckt. Ebenso die Bestellung (wird bis zu 24 Stunden vor Abflug entgegen genommen) meines veganen Essens war kein Problem. Die Hotline ist kostenlos, man hat sofort jemanden am Telefon und auch dort sind die Mitarbeiter sehr zuvorkommend. Immer gerne wieder! Sehr zu empfehlen!

DO NOT USE THIS AIRLINE COMPANY

Me and my wife are set to fly out to london from chicago for our honeymoon. We booked on seperate occasions and somehow my wife booked to fly out a day earlier and return a day earlier. You would think this is an easy problem to fix... THINK AGAIN!. We phoned them a few days after we booked our flights in order to change her flight over. The man said it would cost her an additional $1500 to change the tickets by 1 day. I do not understand the logic of this. I can go online and buy new tickets for $1200 off of the actual website. My wife got off of the phone in tears. We thought to ourselves, maybe we should just accept defeat and fly out on different days. 2 days later I decided to call them my self. Maybe my wife mis-heard them I thought to my self. I call them back and and talk to a new gentlemen. Explained our situation to him once again. He was polite but once again said "to change the flights it will coast you an additional $1500". I then asked to speak to a manager... 10 minutes later, Michelle from the pheonix location is transfered through to me. For the third time i explain my situation. I can hear it in her voice from the moment she first spoke that she had no interest in helping me in any way, shape or form. She then explained that when she types in these new flights in her system, the new tickets (inbound-outbound) are showing up at $2400. I explained that the first tickets i see on the website which i had infront of me states that they are $1200. She then stated rudely, well then get those tickets. I would expect and accept a flight change fee, but to have to pay an additional $1500 is absolutely rediculous. I then asked her if i could speak to a manager yet again, seeing as she was a supervisor and she told me that there was nobody else available to deal with this issue. I said, so your telling me it's mid day on a friday and theres no managers on site at US airways. She said, "yes there is nobody else available to deal with your issue". I am mentally exausted with this situation. Hopefully this review can save someone else money & time.

A few miles short, nothing to do to help

I was recently trying to use my US Air miles to buy a ticket, i was apparently 60 miles short of the amount that I needed -- their system for using miles is very very confusing. Different flights during different hours on the SAME day can be different amount of miles, even to the same destination!! Didn;t make sense. Ended up paying with cash for the ticket, and my miles are still sitting there unused... whats the point?

Une compagnie à éviter, US Airways

Vol Paris - New York avec correspondance à Philadelphie. Correspondance annulée sans aucune information des passagers, puis obligation de passer une nuit à l'escale, file d'attente interminable au comptoir pour tenter d'obtenir des explications, personnel particulièrement désagréable. Par ailleurs service à bord inexistant et nourriture très mauvaise et insuffisante.

Manchester to Philadelphia

Service poor in flight and on the ground. Delays and disruptions both ways. In flight service - one drink over 6 hours! Food very poor. Would never use them again. Although aircraft breakdowns are an unavoidable nuisance we were checked onto United Flight the next day by US Airways to a different destination but bumped off that after queuing for check-in and had to check in again for US Aiways Flight to original destination. Daughter and baby waiting for 4 hours at CVG wondering where we were!

Great Flight to Amsterdam

Food was great, Drinks were great, Stewardess were great, offered to help with bags, pillows, they really did their jobs. No problems boarding the airplane, I have a great 8 hour flight, No problems at ALL. And the complimentary wine sealed the deal
