one star is far too high

We used to have a great reliable waste collection service up until I believe about 2018/19 when a new company took over. This is not a Covid issue as it started happening well before then. The new company is thoroughly unprofessional with the crews needlessly shouting at each other, regularly missing bins, not turning up at the arranged time and leaving a trail of waist along the road. One of my bins was not emptied {again} last week and despite emailing the council nothing has happened 8 days later. on top of that my food bin was not emptied over a period of 3 weeks and when I last checked it was crawling with maggots. I have had to deal with that situation myself as it was a health hazard.

Fantastic service from Richie at the…

Fantastic service from Richie at the Recycling Centre on 15/6/21, 4pm. It was a very hot day and he helped unload the car within minutes, telling me where to go and being friendly, smiley and efficient! Thanks Richie, I really appreciated your help. Anna Crowther (in a red VW Up car)

Wouldn't rate them with a star if I…

Wouldn't rate them with a star if I could. Still waiting for a response from a week ago about them using our brown bin to dump everyone's food waste into then bags splitting and left with a disgusting mess and smell inside. They didn't respond to my last complaint about bins either. Disgusting service!

A week to leave recyclable refuse... 0 stars

0 Star in my opinion, though I have to give one star or i cannot proceed! Our recycle bins were not emptied Monday 4th Jan, date due to empty 3 domestic size recycle bins for 30 apartments. The TW council website showed outstanding collections would be done by Tuesday afternoon. That was us, but No collection. From Wednesday morning to Friday afternoon numerous calls to council offices where the lovely ladies apologised and placed me on hold whilst they spoke with the 'depot'. Each call was assured the collection would be that day... Unfortunately their apologies do not empty bins..... Finally, yesterday Tuesday 12th, one of the Customer Service advisors persuaded a man from the recycle depot to collect in his van. He emptied one bin and left two full ones. Next recycle rotation collection due, Monday 18th and one bin for 30 apartments. Disappointing resolution. Unacceptable service by TWC's recycle contractor. TWC, outsourcing loses a sense of accountability. You can do better!

No Idea

Waste money on overpriced projects that seem to take a unnecessary amount of time to complete, seem to fail in basic services they have basically allowed our town to go down hill to such a extent myself and many others prefer a day out shopping in other towns rather than our own
