Surprisingly, I enjoyed this prototyping experience! I am not a mechanical engineer and this was my first attempt at modeling a part and getting it 3D printed. The Treatstock interface was very easy-to-use and I like how it enables transparency through the whole process. The builder I chose was very responsive and helped ensure my model was printable before printing. Very pleased with the process and product.
Relatively inexpensive, fast and easy. What more could you ask for?

The end result was great - I'm very pleased with the product and the speed of dispatch. However - 1) The ordering process was complex and frustrating 2) There was far too much communication - order confirmed, order accepted, order in production, order ready for dispatch, order now dispatched, follow up emails to check the order arrived, further follow up asking for a review of the producer, further follow up asking for a review of the platform. The majority of this was a pain because it came in the form of an email saying "you have a message, please log in to your account to read it". Less hassle please guys.
Responsive service
Treatstock let me pick from a list of many vendors. Although my order was turned down by a couple of vendors because of technical constraints, Treatstock helped with posting it to other vendors without extra costs. The response was usually within 1 day and the products I received was in great quality.
