Classic Tuscany Tour - Fantastic

The travel department had every thing arranged with no delays so well organised. The tour guide was excellent so informative and extremely nice Claudia . The only problem was sitting at the same table every night you did not get to know all the other guests as there was 50

Lake Como - Great holiday
Our second holiday with Travel Department as we knew from previous experience, that from the moment of booking you can relax and know everything is taken care of. A leisurely 7 night holiday with 3 leisure days. The included tours were excellent and our guide Carol looked after us very well. Hotel Bazzoni was comfortable and we enjoyed the half board meals. We had a balcony facing the lake and enjoyed watching the activity on the lake. Would recommend Travel Department for a holiday to Lake Como.

Best holiday for years!
Once again Travel Department have delivered everything that they promised . Our trip was perfect from start to finish. A special Thank You" to our guide (Anke) and driver (Hamedi) who could not have done more to make sure it all went smoothly. We hope to be back in Côte d'Azur soon.

Memorable holiday
Memorable holiday. Extensive sightseeing programmes every day. We managed to see a lot in10 days. Great guide in Gertie who was knowledgeable, helpful and very efficient. One suggestion: it would be preferable to be able to book airline seats in advance rather than relying on what was available at check in. This caused difficulties for some flights.

Just back from a trip to Sicily
Just back from a trip to Sicily. The Naxos Beach hotel was fabulous, with spacious accommodation, great food, wonderful amenities, and very friendly and helpful staff. I found the trips rushed, trying to fit in too much with little time for lunch or exploring. The tour of Catania on our final day was unnecessary. The city had little to offer, as it was dirty, noisy and we were hours just hanging around waiting to go to the airport. It would have been far better to remain at the hotel and enjoy the facilities there. Nonetheless a very enjoyable holiday.

Jersey garden club holiday
Generally I found the holiday very good. Rosie Maye was a very friendly guide and she obviously knew her plants. The gardens we visited were very much based in one area of the island until the last day, this was a pity as we didn’t get to see much of the island. Honestly, give the Lavender Farm a miss, it was just boring. Our bus driver “uncle John” was wonderful and we appreciated his slight detour on the way back to the hotel one afternoon when he took us along St Ouen’s bay. The hotel was grand, the staff were very friendly. It was in a good location to go out to dinner easily.

Little Trains of the Dolomites.
Just home from a glorious week from the Little Trains of the Dolomites Tour in Italy. Our two tour guides, Patrizia & Loretta were excellent. Thanks for the wine, Loretta! Their approachable personality and knowledge of the area made our trip. The Hotel Miralgo was a wonderfull choice and a lovely friendly group of 29 of us truely enjoyed each others company. A truly memorable experience! Thanks, Mary

Active and fun holiday
This was an active, fun holiday. Local guides had a good knowledge of their areas. There was also time for rest every second day. The hotel was beautiful and it was spotless. Staff were very friendly. Our tour leader was friendly and kept the group well informed at all times. Bear in mind, the level of excercise is moderate as the tours were quite hilly in parts.
