I went to a viewing with Kelly McDermott and she was so friendly and helpful. She knew a lot about the property and the area which really helped. Also followed up by phone a couple days later. Thank you so much! I would definitely use Thornley Groves again.

Renewing a Tenancy

I have recently dealt with both Liam Pope & Amanda Sherman based at the Prestwich Office in connection with renewing a Tenancy for a property.Both of them were extremely efficient,quick & really professional in handling this matter.I would have no hesitation in reccommending them in the future.

Property Management In the last 12 months Thornley grove…

In the last 12 months Thornley grove estate agents have been abysmal since taking over from homes4U. I now have a new contact who is managing my property called Umar Rulal who has been extremely helpful and a man I can contact and returns my telephone calls which was impossible with the previous contacts who did not respond either from the office or mobile phones. I am assuming this improvement will continue and my dismay wit this company will become positive in the future.

Liam and the staff at Thornley Groves Prestwich did a great job in renting out my property quickly. The service was always friendly, polite and professional, the communication was excellent and I was kept informed throughout the process.

Totally flawless

Totally flawless. Clare and the team did a fantastic job dealing with the varied potential buyers, advertising, organising the viewings, and agreeing the final price of the property. Really great communicators, kept me informed throughout the whole process. Basically I did not really have to do anything from placing the first phone call to Clare, to seeing the sale funds arrive in the bank ! Thanks and well done !

Would recommend to anyone looking for a new home

This is the first time we had used Thornley Groves agents and they were amazing to work with. They kept us informed throughout the process and went the extra mile to help secure the tenancy. I would recommend anyone to use them if they are looking to move home

Awful agency

Awful agency. Unable to deal with management companies, overcharged on bills including falsely charged 20% VAT, they're withholding our deposit despite confirming it will be released in full. The Lightwell in Manchester is to be avoided. Tenants lived without a cooker, a fridge and basic appliances and they have no sense of urgency, or desire, to deal with inherent problems. An arrogant, careless and unsympathetic company who haven't a modicum of decency. If you have the option to go elsewhere do it. They're a typical estate agent and simply don't care. We wish we'd have heeded other reviews. We moved out weeks ago and they're still causing stress. Aimee Hobson was their saving grace, the rest don't care. *Edit in response. All the above was taken through numerous different agents and the full complaints process, nothing was resolved. This was a process that lasted months. We haven't recovered any money from overcharged bills and VAT, Though we finally have our deposit back having been direct to TDS.
