The password reset for a forgotten password is too complex. I've been locked out of my account for months. Go through the password reset process and it simply doesn't work. For some reason my email address is associated with over 20 other accounts. Then it says to use the app. I don't have a password dolts so I can't use the app. I've emailed the so called help desk, but they reset my password for one of tho other accounts associated with my email. I paid for games 8 can't use. Why do they not just send a code to my email address like every other site on the net. Incompetent buffoons.

I have had 2 games now that no longer work. I'm tired of spending money and, after a while, the game just stops loading, saving or coming on altogether. And Steam offers no support or suggestions on how to get the program to work.

While my Steam client was running at home, I was logged out without doing anything. During that time, a hacker accessed my session and used cheats in Rust for around 42 minutes. I wasn’t even at my PC, yet their actions led to a permanent Rust ban on my account. Steam hosts and sells Rust but refuses to take any responsibility for this type of session hijacking. When I reported it, they told me the matter was between me, Facepunch, and Easy Anti-Cheat/Epic Games — and they would not help. This is unacceptable. Steam has the ability to detect unusual logins and session takeovers, yet they failed to protect my account or assist me. Now, a hacker’s actions have permanently damaged my profile, and I have no recourse. I trusted Steam with my games and account security, but this experience has completely shaken that trust.

Steam is slowly going in to the shitter over the past years, with new garbage «security measures» that hold your own money hostage after your try to Sell items. Crazy high fees resulting in game devs charging even Worse prices. Lots of scammers roaming free, and absolute garbage customer support. Only reason steam still is on top is because of their past(used to be the best between the little choices people had), and people have become dependent and steam knows it. They Will keep providing more and more shitty services going forward until people actually start responding in Numbers. I reccomend you find another alternative for your game library before you Get stuck on this shit like many more.

Ich bin richtig angepisst auf dieses unternehmen. ich hab kein zugriff auf meine Email und meine Telefonnummer mehr. kann mich mit perso ausweisen, kenne alle daten meines kontos und die Antwort ist ständig. dass ich nur mit einen KASSENBON von vor jahren meinen Account zurukc bekommen? ALSO EIN KASSENBON AKZEPTIERT STEAM ALS PERSÖNLICHE IDENTIFIKATION ABER EIN AMTLICHES AUSWEISDOKUMENT NICHT?????????? Ist das peinlich ! Keeps locking me out of vac though I have never had a ban or cheated on any game or server, slow customer service absolute shit

I have tried to get access to one of my old games through steam after they took over their logging into it. I came for abit of nostalgia and got nothing but days worth of stress from their support team and still can’t log in to my account, I asked for the email associated to the account but they can’t give it without all your personal information. Would not recommend steam support services!

Steam is a joke full of hackers and steam takes a week to get back to you what a joke maybe check your security you tell us to use the 2 step vertification and accounts still get hacked and your lucky there was a no star as l would have clicked on that happily as you dont even deserve 1 star

Steam is currently being targeted by fraudsters falsely recovering thousands of old steam accounts that weren't theres, their reason for fraudulently recovering accounts is to gain access the old account cs inventory with hundreds worth in old cases. Steam sides with the fraudsters and allows them to recover thousands of accounts every single day. There is also a major steam client/overlay bug that will completely force crash your PC system and Steam fail to accept the issue despite dozens of people reporting it.

It a good game platform that I used for many years now, I'm deducting one star for the 30% cut from creators being excessive and there not being a clear way to take out wallet balance

Wszystko co jest związane ze Steam działa znakomicie! Bardzo łatwa obsługa, mnóstwo dostępnych gier. Całkowite bezpieczeństwo przy transakcjach. Nie rozumiem ludzi którzy narzekają, jeżeli robią coś źle to później mają problemy, proste!

Absolute disgrace the so called support. Incompetent bunch of AI users. Sent them so much screenshots of linked items to my account and they still insist to want more and more evidence that that is my account. This is not supporting a client like it was few years ago, now like a told before, they just send you AI message without really a supporting human being want to help you. If you lost your steam auth and your phone number you will loose your acc. Edit: the last point was a bit cynical from me, excuse me that, they did reset the steam auth so that I can login and add a new auth sometime if it is possible. A bit pressure helped me get this problem solved. Peace.

Mein Account wurde mir gestohlen und kein Support reagiert. Der eine Steamsupportler der sich gemeldet hat verlangt nur Geld, ist angeblich Programmierer bei Steam und gleichzeitig Finanzmanager bei Valve. Für mich ist das eher Betrug!!!

This is the 'greatest' platform I've ever used. I purchased a game but it was much below my expectations. Of course I couldn't get a refund because of two hours something policy. In two hours you don't even get to start the game. This platform is like a money making machine. If you buy a game you've certainly wasted your money. I promise I do whatever is necessary to avoid this platform.
