Scap Car Comparison provided the best offer having contacted a few companies directly for quotes - a non-running Volvo XC60. Communication was very good at every stage (Email/Text/Phone) and I was paid on the day of collection as promised - I will admit I had my fingers crossed having never used/heard of them before but comforted by the large number of very positive Trustpilot reviews. Would definitely use again (hopefully won't need to) and recommend.

Gave me a guaranteed offer which reduced by £135 when I called to accept because no MOT (which was indicated in the on-line form). Discussed how our definitions of 'Guaranteed' differed and they increased by £100 but had enough by then.

Really impressed with this company. We had to scrap our car today and they offered us a decent price for it and sorted out a very efficient, courteous local firm - Brighton Motorama to collect. They arrived when they said they would, took care of everything and told us what we needed to do with the DVLA and the money was deposited in my account within a few hours. Really straightforward experience. I entered my details online, got a price, accepted it, then got a phone call from them where I described in detail the condition of the car. I then arranged for it to be picked up 3 days later where the driver had a quick conversation with BMS salvage verifying that the details I gave were correct. It only took a minute for this to be confirmed and he loaded the car up and the money was in my bank in under 3 hours. I suppose I could have got more for the car if I tried to sell it privately but as I just wanted it off the drive as it was too expensive to repair after a MOT failure this worked for me. All in all a very simple and positive experience.
