Scap Car Comparison provided the best offer having contacted a few companies directly for quotes - a non-running Volvo XC60. Communication was very good at every stage (Email/Text/Phone) and I was paid on the day of collection as promised - I will admit I had my fingers crossed having never used/heard of them before but comforted by the large number of very positive Trustpilot reviews. Would definitely use again (hopefully won't need to) and recommend.

was offered an initial price based on the online form, was already annoyed as the car was a Range Rover 15 plate which the engine had gone making it to expensive to fix. that price although was not what I wanted to be hearing seemed a fair price. However after a conversation that price was dropped as the car was not running (er yeah otherwise why would I be using the service) agreed begrudgingly due to the situation I was in. on collection day was rang again and price dropped again as they had said it needed more work that they expected! we are talking about a salvage not a retail sale. I feel like they had me over a barrel due to my predicament and leverages that to drive down the price they eventually paid. feel utterly ripped off and I would wager that this is the normal MO or sukcing you in and then beating you down.
