Scap Car Comparison provided the best offer having contacted a few companies directly for quotes - a non-running Volvo XC60. Communication was very good at every stage (Email/Text/Phone) and I was paid on the day of collection as promised - I will admit I had my fingers crossed having never used/heard of them before but comforted by the large number of very positive Trustpilot reviews. Would definitely use again (hopefully won't need to) and recommend.

This company made me an unconditional offer to collect my car. £176 was what they quoted, which I accepted. They then rang me and began to backtrack from this. Had it an MOT? Well, no, but what difference does THAT make when the car is being scrapped? More nit-picking followed, before they made me a final offer of only £60, which I refused. So far as I am concerned, this company's behaviour is at best unethical and may in fact be illegal. I would advise you all to look elsewhere when scrapping a car. Another firm gave me £150 and no fuss at all.

Money offered was pretty poor, but I chose to go ahead as no time to sort alternative. The service and communications side was very straightforward and efficient , all in all smooth enough.
