Scap Car Comparison provided the best offer having contacted a few companies directly for quotes - a non-running Volvo XC60. Communication was very good at every stage (Email/Text/Phone) and I was paid on the day of collection as promised - I will admit I had my fingers crossed having never used/heard of them before but comforted by the large number of very positive Trustpilot reviews. Would definitely use again (hopefully won't need to) and recommend.

Very quick turn around from contact to getting car collected. The only downside was my car was on my drive and I did explain that but when the company contacted me for the collection I was told they won’t collect from driveway. I did manage to get it moved but just wish that was explained from the start.

I needed to scrap my car, entered my details and got a quick response. I missed their call so called them back and spoke to Matt who explained what would happen and that the company who would scrap the car would be in touch. This happened, all arranged for the next day. Very simple, the company came with a tow truck, gave them the v5 and a photo of my licence was taken. That was it. The money from the company was supposed to be transferred into my account within 3-5 days, over a week later this still hadn’t happened. I called scrap car comparison and spoke to Matt again who said to leave it with him. He called back within 10 minutes and said there had been a glitch on the company’s system and that the money would be transferred by the end of the day, it was. Brilliant service, Matt was extremely helpful. They ask for a £1 donation to their charity which is taken off the price you are quoted.
