Zoomo receives mixed feedback from its customers, reflecting both commendable service and significant frustrations. Many reviewers praise the staff's responsiveness and helpfulness, particularly highlighting the excellent service at locations like Bethnal Green. Consumers appreciate the quality of the bikes, noting their reliability and performance. However, a substantial number of complaints focus on issues with customer service, including problems with the app and unexpected extra charges. Several customers express disappointment with the company's handling of maintenance promises and the overall rental experience, describing it as frustrating and a waste of time and money. While some individuals have had positive interactions, the negative experiences regarding service and fees overshadow the positives. Overall, the sentiment leans towards dissatisfaction.

I rented an e-moped from Zoomo to use for Uber Eats deliveries, and it was one of the most frustrating experiences I've ever had with any company. I paid £80 for the rental, £15 for insurance/theft c... See more

Ferl in Melbourne was excellent. She knows her stuff and explained everything to me.
Toronto locarion are Scammers. Liers. Decievers. For 500 go buy a e bike from walmart.
Such an expensive and the most rubbish company ever. They are not following their own policy and just making money for their own. Even they are against their own policies. First thing that if you want to get cycle for one week. They have such a rubbish system, they will not give you the date after one week. They just give the date to return cycle with minimum 14 days. They told me that if you have booked appointment to return cycle before one week minimum, they will not proceed your payment. My account wast on hold due to some reason and zoomo sending me emails again and again to proceed the payment for which they were not eligible to proceed. Even they email me that if you will not allow us to proceed the payment we will lock your cycle as well as it will lead to a criminal offence. What the hell is this. But somehow I setup my account and they proceed their payment. Now I em trying to email them but they are not giving me any response because the last payment they processed, I want to get my back but still no response. Really disappointed. Don’t buy cycle from zoomo. They are just making money.
Bermondsey store is rubbish for ebike rental. They have a very arrogant manager called Ahmed , he looks down at people not helpful . It used to be the best zoomo rental place but not anymore.
The absence of attentiveness and professionalism in Zoomo's customer service and care is truly disheartening. Throughout our phone conversations, I have repeatedly been labelled as a thief and criminal, and even faced threats from your representative on the 29th that Zoomo would report me as a thief to the legal authorities, potentially leading to legal consequences. Despite my numerous mentions of this during our call, it appears that Zoomo fails to recognize or address these concerns. According to Kleng, I have allegedly missed payments three weeks ago. However, I rented out the bicycle on March 15th, and the phone call I received was on March 29th, which is a span of 14 days, not 21. Additionally, when I made the deposit, I also paid one week in advance for the bicycle. This implies that I have not been in debt, except for the specific day of March 29th, with a total of £51 outstanding. On the 29th of March, during our conversation with Kleng over the phone, I experienced feelings of humiliation and deception. This was due to the fact that I was assured of a complete refund during our discussion following a 5-minute hold period, during which she assured me of sending a confirmation email, she abruptly ended the call without attempting to reconnect with me, but the email I received afterwards was astonishingly inconsistent with what had been agreed upon. Kleng had specifically mentioned that I would be receiving an email confirming the resolution we had reached, which included the specific details of the full refund amounting to £141. Additionally, upon my request for the report from the mechanic following my bicycle rental on March 15th, Zoomo did not present the report as requested. Instead, they claimed to have inspected the bicycle and confirmed its perfect condition. Throughout our investigation, we encountered several customers who had similar experiences with Zoomo. None of them were provided with a report from the mechanic. This behavior by Zoomo appears to be an attempt to evade accountability. It is important to emphasize that the bicycle was not in roadworthy condition and could have potentially caused an accident. I have raised these concerns with Zoomo, but they have not provided any evidence to support their claim that the bicycle underwent an inspection before being rented out to me. Firstly, there were significant issues with the functionality of the bicycle's gear-changing mechanism, which hampered its performance and made riding a cumbersome and potentially hazardous experience. Additionally, the chain of the bicycle exhibited signs of wear and tear, further exacerbating the riding conditions and raising concerns about safety. Despite assurances of an 8-hour battery life, the battery consistently lasted no more than 4-5 hours, significantly impacting the usability and convenience of the rental. Despite my repeated efforts to address this matter with Zoomo, I did not hear back from them until they were served with a formal notice from the Court, indicating my intention to take legal action against them. Additionally, I have not received a refund or any communication from Zoomo since March 29th, which would have shown their dedication to honouring their commitment and correcting their mistake.
The staff are super friendly and the bikes are built for my delivery needs!!!!
dont trust zoomo company, its not a worthable company. for 10 pounds light issues they fined 101 pounds from my deposit amount. befor deposit a amount on zoomo think 100 times, make sure they will not return your deposit amount. cheated company they will cheat your amount.
While renting a bike from Zoomo E-bike, I found the receptionist’s customer service lacking. Her rushed communication and rudeness made the rental process confusing. Additionally, the thief protection offered wasn’t necessary as it didn’t provide added value compared to using our own lockers. I hope the management improves both communication and service options for future customers.
The one and only company that provides an ebike rental scheme catering solely for delivery riders. Room for improvement yes. Introduce an updated delivery bike yes. Any worthy competitors no.
I’ve been with Zoomo for more than three years, thinking they were different, that we were on the same page. I even got my mates to sign up, believing we were part of something cool. But, man, was I wrong. Out of nowhere, they cut off the GPS on my bike. No heads-up, nothing. Just like that, the feature that made me feel safe using my bike every day was gone. Why? Because now that I’ve bought my bike, I’m not making them money on the daily. Then, my bike gets nicked. You’d think with all the big talk about community and support, Zoomo would have my back, right? Wrong again. I reach out, hoping for some help, and all I get is, “Report it stolen.” As if I hadn’t already thought of that. It’s like they couldn’t care less. Trying to get any real help was like talking to a brick wall. Emails, messages, even showing up at their store—nothing worked. It’s like once you’re not paying them rent, you don’t matter. And the kicker? When my bike got stolen, some random strangers on the street showed me more kindness and tried to help more than Zoomo ever did. That really says something, doesn’t it? Zoomo’s all talk about being a community and looking out for each other, but when push comes to shove, they showed their true colors. It’s all about the cash, not about us. No warning, no help, just left out to dry. If you’re thinking about getting involved with Zoomo, think twice. You might just end up feeling ditched when you need them most, just like me. It sucks to say, but that trust and belief I had in them are completely shattered.
The service went very smooth
Rent very high
I am not happy with the service that was provided by the staff at Cambridge Heath Road London, they are not professional and friendly at all. They are the reason I returned the bike to the store. I used the bike for almost a year not happy with Zoomo's service at all.
the worst bike rental place ever, i took a bike for rent, had a puncture, tried to book a appointment, no appointments for a week... so i went there, got it fixed, didn't say any thing about any charge, came home to find they have taken 38.00£ from my account, without even telling me. chat to there customer service, no help at all... when u sign an agreement with them, they have the power to take money out of your bank without your consent, its just day light robbery, they say , they give u 'free that and this' nothing is true...
I took out a bike for a week in sept 2023 £100 deposit gave it back after a week they only paid me £76.86 of my deposit . Contacted zoomo several times via email no response then in jan 2024 they made two transactions of £34.00 on my account very frustrating when you,ve not took or hired anything of them they have details and keep them would not reccomend this company . Finally i got my £34 back but there saying to me they wont give me the rest of my deposit because i had the bike 3 days longer which is not true ,they cant be trusted and they charge your card when ever they feel like took me 4 days to get my £34 back wont ever use zoomo have asked them to remove my details off their system.
They are taken money from my account after a year £236.72 which is unnecessary how to get refund my money can we make a police complaint about these? Help me
The bikes are okay. The hidden shady fees are extremely unprofessional and annoying. I just had £247.5 deducted from my bank account because they put me on a 3 month plan when I asked for a week! Disgusting, they're obviously doing this because they are desperate for money and will stoop to basically rob you of your hard earned money...
