DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE - I signed up, created a press release, paid for it, then Newswire rejected it but kept my money. I been trying to get my money back for months without any luck...

Revised experience: Initially the experience was sub-optimal. Issues to be careful of: 1. just because a publication in the distribution list you choose is in there, it doesn't mean it will get picked up 2. I spent $999 getting their internal team to pitch the story to 500 outlets. You get zero feedback on the experience and success is nigh on impossible to track. The $999 was an absolute waste of time. I got exactly the same distribution as a previous effort without it. Will be taking this up with them. 3. They are just wildly expensive. Same as any "premium" desk. I don't see the value. I can get the same distribution from vendors on Fiverr for around 25% of the price (or less) 4. Their customer service was great. The first distribution had issues as their categories are mapped incorrectly (investment was mapped as Real Estate Investment...)... BUT they honored the experience and really stepped up by crediting us the full amount. Well done. That goes a LONG way. My overall sense is that I don't see the value in spending huge amounts of money like this, being charged an extra $200 just for embedding a video where others offer this completely free. It's death by 1000 cuts for any budget, especially smaller businesses and serves mostly the purpose of SEO and "Looking busy". While I am DEEPLY appreciative of the re-credit... the lengths I had to go to get it and the impact it offers for the cost just doesn't match up. PR needs a better solution. Amazing it has yet to come.

There seems to be a disconnect with the editorial review process. It often takes days to edit a press release. And it's hard to get a customer service rep on the phone to discuss. Email does work well for communication, however. Once through the editorial review process, it's smooth sailing

We purchased a statewide press release but had very little pick up from our state. There were a lot of low traffic websites that picked it up in completely irrelevant markets. Overall disappointed in the distribution.
This was my first time publishing press releases. I will say the team was quick and responsive. They required a few fixes, but within minutes, the releases were publicly available. I got picked up in a few places, even. This naturally works better if the story is about an established figure or event. But everyone has to start somewhere.
The process was very quick and easy, from creating the account, to submitting the Press Release and even doing a correction after review approval.
