(Updated) Great customer support, underwhelming product, outrageously expensive. Many expensive add-ons are a waste of money.
Revised experience: Initially the experience was sub-optimal. Issues to be careful of: 1. just because a publication in the distribution list you choose is in there, it doesn't mean it will get picked up 2. I spent $999 getting their internal team to pitch the story to 500 outlets. You get zero feedback on the experience and success is nigh on impossible to track. The $999 was an absolute waste of time. I got exactly the same distribution as a previous effort without it. Will be taking this up with them. 3. They are just wildly expensive. Same as any "premium" desk. I don't see the value. I can get the same distribution from vendors on Fiverr for around 25% of the price (or less) 4. Their customer service was great. The first distribution had issues as their categories are mapped incorrectly (investment was mapped as Real Estate Investment...)... BUT they honored the experience and really stepped up by crediting us the full amount. Well done. That goes a LONG way. My overall sense is that I don't see the value in spending huge amounts of money like this, being charged an extra $200 just for embedding a video where others offer this completely free. It's death by 1000 cuts for any budget, especially smaller businesses and serves mostly the purpose of SEO and "Looking busy". While I am DEEPLY appreciative of the re-credit... the lengths I had to go to get it and the impact it offers for the cost just doesn't match up. PR needs a better solution. Amazing it has yet to come.
