The Worst Training Experience

I was having a Cisco Datacenter training with Netcom and it was the worst experience I ever had. Trainer was just reading the slides without putting any extra effort to explain things. No whiteboards, no extra materials for better understanding of concepts, didn't know where to emphasize and where to skim fast, no student engagement, he was just reading everything in the same neutral pace just for the sake of completing the formality of the training. The class became so exhausting and boring that even the trainer was yawning during his own lecture. It was a total waste of money and time.

New Employer/Employee Social Compact

The session was exhilarating, informative and truly a check on reality, to say the least. I happen to be from the 'previous' generation of Loyalty, hard work and the accompanying 'assurance'. Though I am fully aware of the changing phenomenon of the new β€˜professional social norms’, I was still awed by its reality. This presentation has given me some excellent insight as how to navigate these two paradigms. I am on the cusp of my career path and still need another 8 to 10 years in the workforce. The change for me is now! Thank you.

Adobe Photoshop: Understanding Images

This was a great webinar - great content and very relevant to some projects I am currently involved in. Presenter was very knowledgeable! The audio was the only issue and loosing connectivity with presenter at the end.

Great Info

I thought the host was really good at providing the right level of detailed information. He clearly defined what we were going to review, then he reviewed each part in detail, and showed specifics of how to apply it. He compared and contrasted the different issues, and I could clearly see how to use the tools and information he touched on. The only issue was, at the end, we were cut short by about 10 minutes - seemed like his phone or power cut off. So we were left hanging, and eventually I just hung up.
