The Worst Training Experience

I was having a Cisco Datacenter training with Netcom and it was the worst experience I ever had. Trainer was just reading the slides without putting any extra effort to explain things. No whiteboards, no extra materials for better understanding of concepts, didn't know where to emphasize and where to skim fast, no student engagement, he was just reading everything in the same neutral pace just for the sake of completing the formality of the training. The class became so exhausting and boring that even the trainer was yawning during his own lecture. It was a total waste of money and time.

Very interested in this topic and look forward to utilizing in my work

The webinar was great. Didn't give it a five for two reasons. 1 it moved too fast so you either need to present less or make the webinar longer. 2 the presenter was difficult to understand.

Fantastic Instructor

Adebayo Norman was our class instructor, and he was patient, articulate, and professional throughout our three day training class. I have used Excel for many years, but gleaned a substantial amount of knowledge about the newest version thanks to Adebayo. I would take another NetCom Learning class in the future.

It's one of the top 20 IT training companies. The counselors are very knowledgeable and flexible with your schedule. The instructors are VERY knowledgeable and make learning quite easy.

Great webinar, Lousy follow-up

The webinar on Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) was the perfect primer / refresher course as part of my study efforts toward the CISM. The presenter was knowledgeable, obviously skilled, and also had the ability to keep to a high level so as not to lose the less technical among us. the slides are useful study aids. I may very well recommend that part of this course be used in training some of our management. On the flip side, I had filled out both the webinar registration and the survey immediately following the webinar that I was not interested in being sold additional courses yet I received a call the following day (yesterday) that was beyond belief. The caller didn't know his script and didn't seem to have the language skills to go away from the script either. He didn't seem to understand that "no, thank you" means no. I am usually polite and understand that sales are part of the deal with webinar attendance but this one wouldn't take no, or seem to understand he had no hope of selling me study courses for an exam I'm taking in two days' time.
