Easy address change

I get the magazine in Italy and needed to change my mailing address. It was easier than I expected. I just sent not to the address on the magazine cover and they did it for me and let me know via email. They also sent the web link where I can do it on my own in future.

I like national geographics - Disney Sucks

I like national geographics. I haven't had a subscription for a while and wanted to try the digital version. The service is terrible. Initially I was able to access the site with my iPad but not my laptop. Now I can't use either. I can log in but the account needs to be linked to a Disney account (not sure why since I created a national geographics account). I created a Disney account but it won't allow me to link (says it's already linked to another account. Customer service so far has not helped. The chat is only if you want to subscribe and the email help was no help at all. Next I'll try to call them (only available during certain hours). Not looking good at the moment. This is a ridiculous system. You need multiple accounts for one subscription. I got in touch with someone over the phone and the issue was that while I had a login @gmail, my account login associated with the subscription was @google.com (person on the phone was very courteous and helpful). Not sure what happen or why I was able to login with my @gmail account (just with no subscription). National geographics is great but you need to create a Disney account first then get the subscription if you get the subscription first it asks you to create a Nat Geo account but then you still need to create a Disney account. Not sure if I made the mistake or if it defaulted to @google.com somehow. They really should make this easier, and the chat should have been allowed to help with this (they only manage subscriptions not account access). I would have given 4 starts otherwise

MAI PIU’

Ho dato una stella perché non si può dare meno! Un disastro. Ho regalato l’abbonamento e sto facendo una pessima figura. Ogni mese la rivista, se va bene arriva 20/30 giorni dopo l’uscita in edicola. Al telefono dicono è colpa di Poste italiane. Io so che ho comprato un servizio e questo servizio non funziona

I can log on to DIsney+/Nat Geo, but not read articles

I have had a digital subscription since September 2024. For a couple months now, I have been able to sign on to the site, but not read any articles. Apparently, there is a problem with the Disney+ link for digital only subscribers. I finally decided to get this fixed, which led to a frustrating two days. Online help is nice, but doesn't support digital only customers, phone call claims I called outside business hours despite being well within the range stated on the message. (I found help independently via Google, and was able to get things working *once* by deleting site cache and cookies, but not a second time.) The articles are really interesting and the photos gorgeous, but it's just not worth the hassle! --- Update: Nat Geo did get hold of me -- they had me clear the cache again but also give it 24 hours. I was dubious, but it did work and now I am logging in w/ Disney+ and happily reading the articles. I added two stars because they got it fixed, but not all the way because it was so difficult to get help.

Delivery Problems addressed by Excellent Customer Service

Excellent customer service, thank you Matette. South Africa's Postal Service has largely collapsed, resulting in erratic to non-delivery of my National Geographic Magazines. NGM informed me they were working on a possible alternative delivery arrangement. Let us hope it works. It will be sad to cancel my subscription, due to non-delivery of my NGMs, after nearly 50 years being an enthusiastic member.

Changing direct debit mandate is

I needed to amend direct debate mandate on the magazine subscription. Not knowing the correct procedures, I emailed National Geographic (NG). Within 24 hours of first enquiry, the amendment was completed successfully. Thank you for the support.

Duplicated subscription.

Abysmal Service

It's impossible to get through to anyone to support a subscription. When you get through they tell you you're not in the USA so you try again and get nowhere. I've reset my password repeatedly to try and get into my details, emailed US and UK service accounts but had no replies. I've cancelled the DD in the hope the whole thing just goes away.
