THANKS !!!

I read the summary of comments and was astonished by some remarks. Who the hell would want to cancel subscription ? With all the garbage that is floating around, we may be happy to have a magazine that is worth reading. Over the past 30 years we have probably moved about 5 times. Never did I miss one single magazine. Again, complaints about delivery are mystifying to me. I can only thank the great group behind my preferred magazine for the outstanding job well done. I'm already looking forward to the next issue !!!

Prijs kado abb was €69,98. Ben al heel de week bezig om telefonisch contact te krijgen met Nat Geo. Al twee keer met Hearst uitgeverij gebeld, maar eind vd week nog steeds geen bericht terug. Slecht!

It"s not only this time

It"s not only this time , it is for more than a year that I'm not receiving my magazine . After many e-mails and many sorrys from the assistants who answered ( almost each time a different person , or maybe some robot )nothing happened. The last answer from Janien (?) told me that I have 2 options : 1 . to renew my subscription ( because the last one expired , and they can"t search further why I have these delivery problems , if I haven"t a valid subscription 2. accept a refund of 59 euros I choosed the first and I renewed for another 2 years. So , like nothing had happened I 'll have to wait now , not for my issues of the magazine never received ( 14 months ) , but to see if the problem will continue with my new subscription. I've always had the same address and now , of course , the same . So what I'll have to do in the event that my magazine will continue to NOT arrive ? And what with the issues I've paid for and never received ?

Disappointed by this once trustworthy company…

Disappointed that a company that has been loved and deemed trustworthy for so many years would do the gross thing of 'renewing' my subscription without my consent two months before it was set end. I luckily was able to borrow money to put in my account before the payment went through, but the considerable cost once converted to CAD ($80) would have made my account bounce and really messed me up. I'm giving them two stars instead of one because they do have great customer service agents to help with the refund at least. But this shouldn't be happening in the first place.

all too difficult for all too little

i have had a subscription now since january. The whole process of having to link into a disney plus account should have sent alarm bells. however i did want to read the articles - i had previoulsy had a subscription a few years back. This time however complex password resets/linking accounts/ no easy access to magazine has left me frustrated and dissapointed. Now i cant access an account so i can cancel. it all feels dodgy and money scamming to me. i have contacted a few "email addresses" however to date still have not managed to cancel.

Digital Subscription took renewal funds 2 months early

I have a digital subscription to National Geographic which I love, However they took funds from my account a full 2 months in advance of the expiration date. This is outrageous. There is no reasonable way to charge someone so far in advance.

Customer service help was fast and correct

Subscribing was very fluent. I made a mistake using the wrong (work)email adres during subscription. It was corrected through one simple email with the customer service adres mentioned in the confirmation email.

Kafkaesque Customer Service experience

I just called the number 44 (0) 345 045 0355 listed on the National Geographic Traveller webpage under help section. Aldwin answered and let me explain my subscription issue (I missed a delivery and got a Royal Mail card asking to reschedule, but since the service is handled via Whistl, there was no tracking number on the note. I called customer service because I need a tracking number to reschedule or even understand where my delivery is). After explaining everything, Aldwin told me it was the wrong number and that I should call 01858 438787, the dedicated number for the Traveller magazine. So I called… and who answered? Aldwin again!!! BUT he acted like we’d never spoken ... even though we’d just spoken minutes earlier! He was clearly a real person, not an AI. Now, setting aside the fact that they can’t provide a tracking number (so your item is essentially out there and you’re left completely stuck), my point is: How is it possible to have someone so disengaged working in customer service? Someone so... mentally checked out (to put it in a nice way)?

Reportages pas du tout écologistes ( recherche d'or, d'opale,etc...) et pas bienveillants limites racistes ( the border). Pathétique ! De la " grande télévision " façon Trump. 🙄😒

Giornaletto

Trying to cancel after a years…

Trying to cancel after a years subscription. Magazine is great. Trying to cancel is like sitting an exam with GCHQ. I’ve been asked to verify for over half an hour. Tried setting up an account and to cancel and I can because I already have one. When I tried to get a reminder code to sign in to access no code is sent (repeatedly). Honestly at this point just feels like a con to keep getting your money. Will anyone ever get back to me? Who knows? Is there someone working for the magazine having a laugh at making people jump through hundreds of hoops? its awful. wish id never signed up.

Cannot cancel subscription and can't access account

They cannot find my account yet my credit card continues to be charged for an annual subscription. My subscription was set to auto renewal but I cannot change this since nobody can access my account. Whether I call, try to log in online or send an email I get the same error that my account cannot be found. I was told to wait till I got the next issue as the correct account number would be on the mailing label. Well the mailing label came and it has the same account number that I sent them. I don't understand how nobody can find my account yet I am still getting the magazine and getting charged. Their subscription service is so suspicious. I might have to go to extreme lengths like freezing my card or reporting it lost so that I won't get charged again. Sorry Nat Geo but I can't support their shady subscription practices.

Absolute joke from start to finish

Absolute joke from start to finish. The subscription process was full of errors and complications. Finally managed an online subscription which worked for a while but now I can’t open most articles without being asked to subscribe. I also started receiving a hard copy of the magazine through the post which I did not subscribe to but of course was charged for a whole year. Looked this up on my Paypal account and this payment was listed and recurring annually. I canceled this and my recurring online subscription (which doesn’t work anyway).

Misleading price point and double charging

Purchased a subscription and was disappointed to find out the canadian Magazine only tells one after purchasing it that it is on USD currency. When I went to cancel my subscription they charged me again, then refunded a smaller amount even though I cancelled it within a few hours of purchasing it. Still awaiting canceling the second charge that they performed a day after my first purchase.
