I like national geographics - Disney Sucks
I like national geographics. I haven't had a subscription for a while and wanted to try the digital version. The service is terrible. Initially I was able to access the site with my iPad but not my laptop. Now I can't use either. I can log in but the account needs to be linked to a Disney account (not sure why since I created a national geographics account). I created a Disney account but it won't allow me to link (says it's already linked to another account. Customer service so far has not helped. The chat is only if you want to subscribe and the email help was no help at all. Next I'll try to call them (only available during certain hours). Not looking good at the moment. This is a ridiculous system. You need multiple accounts for one subscription. I got in touch with someone over the phone and the issue was that while I had a login @gmail, my account login associated with the subscription was @google.com (person on the phone was very courteous and helpful). Not sure what happen or why I was able to login with my @gmail account (just with no subscription). National geographics is great but you need to create a Disney account first then get the subscription if you get the subscription first it asks you to create a Nat Geo account but then you still need to create a Disney account. Not sure if I made the mistake or if it defaulted to @google.com somehow. They really should make this easier, and the chat should have been allowed to help with this (they only manage subscriptions not account access). I would have given 4 starts otherwise
