I find Monzo brilliant, really good for watching expenditures.
I have been a customer since 2019, and this year, 2025, I have noticed that customer service is terrible, particularly from the South Africa call. centre I guess now they have grown so big they stopped caring about customers and just hide behind policies and processes and don't care how they deal with customers. Sad, really, as the app is pretty good. Also, if you do complain, they say is their policy and process; they don't care, so if you expect them to help when something goes wrong, you might be in for a frustrating experience.
One of worst bank if they close your account down you have wait 4 weeks for funds to transferred and if you tell them you need money to transferred thy just like to ignore everything even floor manager don’t care about illiness your facing or other people health

A friend referred me to Monzo for the offer if I spend something with Monzo myself and friend get £10 each. Since then I have got my physical card and will be using it like a savings since I have a card, while’s still using my other Bank as a main source of income. Loving how you get notification straight away when money added, you spend something while’s others they sometimes take a while or you don’t get them. Very very handy Monzo

Really easy to use
Terrible from Monzo. I had a business account with them and turned over 500k in 2 months. I then started getting ridiculous questions thrown at me through the app about where the money was coming from! (The payments were payments made by customer invoices!) Unless I am missing something, this is how a business works. Then today, I was on my way to Birmingham for a business meeting and received a notification through the app that my account was frozen. Basically, I could not use any banking for my meeting and they simply did not care. They said it would take 48 hours. I then got home and made an official complaint and to my shock, received an email from Monzo stating my account had been closed and will do so 4 weeks from today. Monzo are a controlling and unprofessional bank and I would avoid them like the plague! What a joke. I have since removed all of my money (they unfroze it today once they notified me of its closure) and have since set up a new bank for young entrepreneurs. No wonder the UK is in a mess!
