My wife and I each have an account in the raheny branch. MFCU recently introduced a one year fixed term deposit account. We decided to transfer some funds to this, downloaded and completed the forms. Left them into branch. According to the grumpy assistant this wasn't enough, we both have to visit the branch, complete the forms, bring id, proof of address etc We are already account holders who completed CJA requirements within the past 2 years! We were not taking funds out, just putting some in a different type of account. Have now transferred the funds to a fixed term account in BofI.
Sinead in the Member Services Centre was brilliant in helping with my issue. She responded quickly, and always with enough information and detail that every step of the process was clear and easy. Thanks a mil!

I have been with this credit union for years even before the name change. Its a fantastic business that puts community first and hasn't succumbed to total automation. You can always talk to their advisers and particularly when thing were hard when the children were young they were great. Quick decisions and helpful staff
