Review summary
JS Law is exceptionally well-rated by customers. Customers particularly appreciate service and professional, though some mention concerns about communication and expensive.
JS Law handled my sale and purchase.
I would like to give a 5 star review for Khusbu Vhikabai.
Throughout my experience with JS Law, Khusbu has been professional, supportive and understanding, answering my questions and keeping us informed all up date.
Thank you so much JS Law.
Good service, excellent communication and an efficient stress free experience
Use at your own risk. Offered little help in terms of protecting my interests with my property purchase, and never responded to me when questions arose after the completion. I would report them to the law ombudsman if I thought I would get any resolution.
I would like to give a 5 star review for Loni Timson.
Throughout my experience with JS Law, Loni has been professional, supportive and understanding answering all questions and queries and keeping us informed and up to date.
I canβt thank you enough Loni! πππππ
Terrible firm. Incompetent, rude and arrogant. Please avoid this law firm at all costs. No axe to grind here at all and I will be making a complaint to the law society.
A good solid all round conveyancing that got us through our sale after many set backs and trials. Good communication and understanding. EWay system was very handy and secure. Reasonable price. Trustworthy. Would recommend them for sales.
Brilliant service from the company, lots of help and guidance throughout and great communication when explaining any issues along the way.
Thankyou to Ruby for all the help.
If I could give it 0 stars I would! Absolutely terrible service. They took my LISA funds from my account 9 months too early, claiming my interest for themselves. Also no one ever answered their phones, never replied to voice messages and rarely responded to emails. Absolutely horrendous experience! My house purchase then fell through because it took so long and it then took them 9 WEEKS to return my LISA funds back to my account.
I know buying a property is a stressful process but avoid JS Law at all costs. The emotional and mental strain is not worth it!
Sri has been absolutely amazing throughout the whole process. Nothing was ever too much trouble and was always happy to help. Would 100% recommend Sri in the future. Thanks very much Sri π π π
Hello, Thank you to JS Law and specifically Narissa Bains, for the very smooth and speedy sale of of our property. I would recommend without hesitation the company.
Thanks again.
Neil.
I would strongly suggest against using JS Law, especially if you value communication, professionalism, and timely service. My conveyancing solicitor, Tavleen Kaur, was assisting with the purchase of a property, and what should have been a smooth process turned into a six-month ordeal with no exchange of contracts.
Since March 17th, Ms. Kaur has blatantly ignored my calls and emails. Despite repeated attempts to reach her and numerous promises from the company, I have received no meaningful updates or communication. I even made a formal complaint to JS Law β unsurprisingly, nothing came of it.
In a desperate attempt to get answers, I visited their office on May 27, 2025, and was told that Ms. Kaur was βbusy.β I spoke with a colleague who assured me Iβd be contacted with an update. That update never came. I've been given multiple contact numbers over the months, but they either go straight to voicemail or I'm told to speak to my solicitor β the very person who refuses to respond.
As a result of their negligence, Iβve incurred significant costs, including rental fees, solicitor charges, survey expenses, and storage costs, all while being left entirely in the dark. This experience has been beyond stressful and deeply frustrating.
Itβs worth asking: does anyone responsible work at JS Law?
Unless you're looking for an unprofessional and disorganised company, I highly recommend avoiding JS Law.
Iβve now formally withdrawn from the property purchase, once again, with zero acknowledgement from JS Law. Iβve requested the return of my funds, as Iβve found another property and donβt want further delays. Yet, JS Law continues to hold onto my money, and no one appears to be taking any action to resolve the issue. This is entirely unacceptable, and I will escalate the matter due to the company's negligence.
Zoe McLeavy was my conveyancer at JS Law and she has been pivotal in making my dream house purchase in Clacton-on-Sea smooth and straightforward. Why? Her instructions were clear; she was prompt to replying to my queries either by phone or email and embraced the changes when the original course of actions deviated a bit. The process from start to finish was quick and took all the stress away from me.
