Still No Access to My Account Since June 28

[22:22, 13.07.2025] Duygu Erdoğdu: My Instagram account has been inaccessible since June 28. I submitted my ID and selfie video on July 5, and the system said I would receive a reply within 3–4 business days, but no response ever came. I have two-factor authentication enabled, but I’ve lost my backup codes. I submitted every form multiple times, used different devices, and followed all instructions — still nothing. Instagram is calling everyone a Pedo! then BAN THEM

My Instagram account (@chamseldinart) was permanently banned with a serious false accusation. No appeal, no human review, no evidence. I'm a public figure and this has destroyed my brand and reputation. I contacted support many times and got only bots. I submitted GDPR complaints.

Meta falsely accused my 16 yr old of…

Meta falsely accused my 16 yr old of bad stuff and disabled her Instagram account used for soccer recruiting while we are at soccer nationals trying to be recruited! It also disabled my Instagram and my 17 year old Facebook account. We did the appeal but have heard nothing so far. I can’t believe they’ve done this and haven’t come out with a statement about getting it fixed. Why is this not in the news?!!!!

Instagram AI Bans - Terrible Experiences

Several months ago I found myself locked out and banned from my account. I've submitted selfie videos of myself and done everything they asked - and still got a "we cannot verify your account. your account will remain locked" email. I've done the selfie video in natural lighting, outdoors, mirrors, etc. and nothing works I have friends and group chats that aren't on other social media platforms, and this was my way to connect with them and local kpop fan events.

Falsely Accusesd of CSE(Child Sexual Exploitation)

I got falsely accusesd of CSE(Child Sexual exploitation) on my instgram accoutn on 3rd june 2025 when i woke up and when i appeal within 5 minutes i got another email saying they permanently disabled my account due to found content which is not true, and since there is like no customer support i have pay to get basic support from them which is diabolical. I can assure i have no such content in my account. This action made me lose all meta accounts linked to it(Facebook, Messenger, Instagram, and threads). Since i logged in to my grandfather's phone with my accoutn meaning i can switch between his and my facebook account, when my facebook got suspended due to my instagram accoutn being permanently disabled, my grandfather's facebook also got "permanently disabled" without any email or reason, i speculate this happened due to poor AI, they think that since there are two accounts on the same device meaning it belongs to the same person. I'm writing this to get back my accoutn and my granddfather's and also clearing mine and his reputation as blindly accuse someone of commiting such act without evidence or explaination and logged us out of anywhere to explain is just ridiculous as they has currently given us some bas or false impression from family and friends which in long term will ruin our lives too.

15 year old FB, 9 and 4 year old IG's, GONE.

My burner account which I use to follow celebrities was permanently suspended on June 26, 2025. It was a 4 year old account. It didn't bother me too much because I still have my main account that I use for my friends and family. But then again my 9 year old Instagram got suspended yesterday. Then my 15 year old Facebook also got suspended which is linked on my Instagram. They asked me to send a video selfie, I answered their puzzle, but after 5 mins it got permanently suspended. I can't review it anymore. I need to open my Instagram to send an appeal for my Facebook. But I can't open my Instagram anymore so how can I send an appeal on my Facebook? They say its CSE. I've never been that active on my Facebook and Instagram. I haven't shared any posts or pictures in a while. Do they think I am a bot? I tried to contact their customer service, but it was an AI for God's sake. I want my accounts back! I have a LOT of precious memories and files there with my friends and family! It was my way of communication with them!

Banned under wild false accusations

Got my account suspended for a wild false accusation (no idea why, I never seen, posted or interacted in any way, shape or form with anything that would define the reason for suspension). Tried to appeal, less than a minute later got an automated reply saying it got 'reviewed' (yeah, right) and apparently it still doesn't follow their community guidelines and then my account got disabled, Screw Meta, absolute joke of a company

I like many others have recently had their account wrongly accused of CSE and when asked to "appeal" it was denied five minutes later clearly by automated AI moderation. But rather than complain about always having to defend against false claims by Instagrams buggy AI, or the complete lack of customer service, I want to talk about how the app experience itself is become horrible over the years. Full of ads, bot comments and an inconsistent moderation where some accounts get to post outright racist and nude content while other accounts which art small art accounts get monthly bans due to faulty ai. Many of metas userbase joined at a time when the social media giant was still relevant and meta doesnt have the humility to admit they are a dying social media platform that is losing their relevancy. Like or hate it, Twitter is still a platform where the first news stories hit, and however you feel about Tiktok it has struck a cord with billions of users. Metas only relevance is with the very old who have zero media literacy and fall for misinformation and easy to spot scams by ai bots, and a slowly declining userbase that will eventually switch to tiktok or twitter once meta eventually degrades the quality of the app until it is unuseable. Even if the ban wave is fixed, it is a symptom of a much larger problem with the app, it is slowly losing relevance and it is only a matter of time until we all move onto something better. Save the time and move onto another platform now.

Account suspended because of stupid AI verification

Got five accounts suspended all at once for breaching community guidelines on "account integrity" (spoiler alert: it was a clean account, Meta's reasoning is complete bullshit), and not being able to appeal correctly with an actual human being (apparently the company replaced all of them with artificial intelligence and automated processes) makes me and many other users frustrated, especially when we have business accounts running on the platforms. This enshitification of internet services is only hurting real, genuine social connections, and it's just the start before it gets even worse.
