Unprofessional Behaviour

The keys were given to the buyers without our consent, even though we had instructed them to hold off until the full set of keys was received. Glenn, the area director, released the keys, and Jamie, the Watford branch manager, shifted the blame onto the solicitors and us for their unprofessional actions. If the area director and branch manager act this way, what can we expect from the rest of the team?

Absolutely unacceptable experience with…

Absolutely unacceptable experience with Estate Agent’s Paul.They misrepresented the property my daughter purchased, advertising it as semi-detached when records confirm it is a terraced house. There is a clear evidence, they refuse to acknowledge their mistake. This misrepresentation has caused significant financial loss, as she would have made a different purchasing decision had she been given the correct information.Avoid this agency if you value honesty and professionalism.

I was looking for a rental property in…

I was looking for a rental property in the Hemel Hempstead area of Hertfordshire and found that a lot of the estate agents that I dealt with were not very efficient in finding me what I wanted and were literally making me decide to buy a property instead of renting one. However one person was very helpful and knew all the relevant information on the property we were viewing and was extremely helpful in trying to find us somewhere within our price range. I am 73 years old and disabled and this lovely person was very patient with me too. Her name was Ellie and she worked from the Hemel Hempstead branch of Imagine Estate Agents. Thank you Ellie for going above and beyond your role as a letting agent. Sonya x

Almost a year later and I still haven’t been refunded £500 that was due to be returned to me in December 2019. I’ve emailed consistently but the issue still hasn’t been resolved for some unknown reason!!!!

The worst estate agent I have ever…

The worst estate agent I have ever rented through. No matter how reliable and honest payer you are, they will only support the landlord and act against you when you terminate your tenancy. Go elsewhere, where your money would be appreciated.

They need to really do their due…

They need to really do their due dillegence on the prospects they bring in to view properties and have a better system in place. 99% People viewing our property were timewasters! no intention to buy or make an offer. Looked like they are just bringing them along to view many properties as possible, and to show the sellers that they are doing as much as possible to get interest. They really need to change their system on how they screen prospects who want to buy a property. It saves everyones time! For this reason I would not recommend using them until they have a system in place whereby they only bring in screened serious buyers and not timewasters!

Imagine are a disgrace

Imagine are a disgrace - I feel so strongly about this company - regarding lettings - if your thinking about using this company to rent a property - DONT! Jessica can’t seem to explain a contract and left me wanting to leave a contract early and cost me a considerable amount of money and time because things didn’t get explained. The attitude of the office is appalling and bullish behaviour towards me leaving me stressed - I was also told that I wouldn’t get anywhere by complaining to the ombudsman... They work only for the landlords. Read all your paperwork and keep all emails and letters as you may well need it all one day. They ignore emails and want replies when it suits them. There all plenty of other good longer standing letting agents in Watford - you don’t need to use imagine. Read other reviews on line there also not good.
