This is a scam, luckily I read reviews on this website before signing up! They will claim to advertise your business for £130 and then get very aggressive when you say no - PLEASE BEWARE, these people are repulsive!!
Would highly recommend, very easy process after using two different design companies and still they couldn’t get the branding how I wanted it. The team at HWRK got it looking good, Look forward to working with them.
SCAM SCAM SCAM ALERT!!!!! I received a call from HMWK magazine at the beginning of March 2024. They claimed they could offer me advertising space, half page for a good price. The sales man was very pushy and claimed it was for Home Work magazine, which went out to all involved in Education, Head Teachers, Teachers, Support staff etc etc. I was told I would get a printed copy by the 1st April and when I asked, I was told that over 128'000 people received a printed copy. being a new business, I fell for this SCAM. I paid the Invoice to Edu Online Group and then radio silence. I then got an email with a draft advert, which they had basically lifted information, copy and paste. I made some adjustments and thought nothing of it. I then received another call last week from the same salesman, as i recognised his voice. The same salesman then tried to say he did not sell me the advertising space, despite admitting he spoke to me at the beginning of March, he knew about the Anti Bullying fund raising, but then quickly denied working for Home Work Magazine advertising company. I kept challenging him, so he quickly said that I had agreed to advertise in another magazine, Caution Magazine, which is for emergency services staff in South West UK, which doesnt exist. He was very pushy and kept trying to get me to pay up front for a great deal for a full page this time, an extra £299.00. I challenged him again and he took my email and said he would send me the art work. This art work has never appeared. I have since contacted the Police/Action Fraud and raised the matter with my bank. I have also contact HMWK magazine and they claimed it was not a scam. When I asked for the salesman name and details, I was told that they would get this for me to pass to the Police. A few moments later, I received a call from someone call John Anderson saying that he would refund the money, as ive been miss sold advertising space, as HMWK magazine is online and is not printed. John then said he did not want the matter to go any further and I should get my money back within three to five days, we will see.
I must say as both a retired teacher and now business owner, I have found the services of the design team at HWRK immensely helpful and creative. The editorial content of this magazine is second to none.
HWRK Magazine - a brilliant resource that has become an indispensable companion in my journey as a teacher. Boasting a diverse range of professional development content, this publication is nothing short of a five-star treasure trove for any educational professional. Right from the outset, what draws you to HWRK Magazine is the richness and relevance of the content. Each issue is packed with invaluable Continuous Professional Development (CPD) material that directly targets the most pressing and current needs of the teaching profession. The fact that these resources are crafted by educators themselves, adds an element of authenticity and practical applicability that is sometimes lacking in other professional publications. The articles consistently present innovative approaches to teaching, classroom management, and pupil engagement. The easy-to-read layout of the magazine, the well-researched articles, and the succinct style make complex pedagogical concepts accessible to all. HWRK Magazine provides a dynamic platform for the exchange of ideas and experiences, promoting a community spirit amongst educators. The voices of new and experienced teachers alike are heard and valued, fostering a sense of unity and shared purpose within the profession. In the rapidly evolving landscape of education, HWRK Magazine has been, and continues to be, a beacon of support for teachers. Whether you are new to the profession, a seasoned veteran, or someone who simply wishes to stay informed about the world of education, this magazine is a must-read.
My favourite CPD! Helpful and thought-provoking and always topical.
Working with HWRK is easy, straight forward and fun! Happy to share my support for schools and teachers on Behaviour.
An amazing resource for teachers and leaders!
A great magazine with so much available for teachers from across sectors and in different phases of school. Articles are well informed and led by research. Lots of takeaways that I have been able to use in my own practice. Would definitely recommend others reading and taking note of some of the excellent articles by fantastic authors
HWRK Magazine seeks thoughtful, well-informed voices to discuss a range of educational ideas and strategies. The articles are comprehensive, evidence-informed, and tangible. As a reader, you learn more about theory but also how to implement ideas in practice, which is what I look for when I put time aside to read about education. The editorial team plan and design the magazine brilliantly!
Really interesting collection of articles relating to education - pedagogy, teaching styles, behaviour and SEND. A collection of writers who are diverse and have varied approaches. Step out of echo chamber to listen to a myriad of those top in their fields
The go to publication for the teacher of today . Relevant, thought provoking and featuring diverse opinions and voices .
A really useful, insightful and honest publication that gives a platform to a range of voices; inclusive and engaging.
It was a pleasure to work with Andy and the HWRK team - a brilliantly produced publication with loads of food for thought for teachers and leaders.
Great variety of articles from leading professionals. Wonderful to read 🐝
A great magazine for teachers and educational professionals that looks at curriculum, pedagogy, research and wider debates in education. I read each edition and will always have practical “takeaways”. In particular I appreciate that there are RE specific articles that sit alongside articles that have a broader audience. I also like that HWRK magazine draws together a wide variety of opinions from the education world, this makes me listen to and learn from people outside of my echo chamber.

Many customers express satisfaction with their experiences, noting the helpfulness of the staff and the positive impact of advertising in the magazine.
