Terrible experience. Customer service was virtually nonexistent. I contacted them multiple times by phone and email to rearrange a delivery and got no help at all. In the end, I was charged a hefty return fee, didn’t receive the item I ordered, and wasted hours dealing with an unhelpful delivery service. They use poorly rated couriers, which I’ve since seen mentioned in other reviews. I ended up going to a high street retailer instead and placed the same order with no fuss. Avoid.

Never got my sofa as the delivery…

Never got my sofa as the delivery company they use Arrow XL are shockingly inefficient. Address entered incorrectly. Failure to adhere to their own policies of contact prior to delivery, and autonomy to change delivery dates with no consideration for working people’s lives. I wasted so much time on the phone to both the delivery company and The actual clients. Had I known that this would be such an issue I Would have avoided this company at all costs. I’m about to request my refund - watch this space!

Almost lost my cool...

First a quick appraisal for the staff they have working for them - specifically Roisin. She was incredibly calm, and easy to talk to. I had ordered a Ometa Air Conditioner in Space Grey" but when it arrived it showed "Black" on the box and the casing itself looks black. After calling and getting through to Roisin she explained that it was the correct item that had been sent, just that the images being used online do not truly marry up to what you get. To which a suitable resolution was made on the phone and actioned within a couple of minutes. Moral of the story, don't trust what you see online, its all photoshopped. As for the company itself, you do need to make sure you're selling what your showing. I could have quite easily... lost my cool... about this whole situation. Delivered in a fairly timely manner, and overall experience was pleasant enough. You've been spared 2 stars because of Roisin.

Very professional and friendly company…

Very professional and friendly company to deal with. Communication was excellent. Unfortunately we paid for express delivery but the delivery company could not deliver on time. No problem at all contacted Home detail and staff sorted a new delivery date and refunded the £20. Excellent service.

after a replacement

It is a replacement after a bad experience, now it looks ok, not too much creaking sound, but a litter bit. the original sofa make creaking sound and collapsed. they redelivery a new base for me and they didn't take the original sofa base, I need to contact the dispose compony with additional 70 pounds myself. I will keep using it. But the price is not very high, so if you expect a very good quality sofa, you may choose a expensive one. this price seems only can have this quality.

Bought reclining sofas. 2 months later the recliner mechanism messed up. They offered me 60quid. Not very happy

not enough contact

I found the perfect chair at Home Detail perfect for my rehab after hip operation. Until the delivery never happened contacted them and they gave me another date which again never happened I don't blame them for this but there was no updates given. When I couldn't wait any longer I called them and asked for a refund which they agreed to straight away they didn't try to remedy the situation. I may have held on if they had confirmed another delivery date the carrier let them down
