“Visits” are ineffective and outrageously priced

Telemedicine is absolutely the right fit for me but I can’t justify keeping an account with Kick. First, It is extremely frustrating that I have had much more interaction with Kick over the responses to this trustpilot review than I have in attempting to email customer service to resolve the issue. They are eager to dismiss themselves as misunderstood and cancel me publicly here on trustpilot but won’t answer my email attempt to resolve the matter quietly. I wish they would put these communication efforts into their extremely expensive “visit.” The problem began when I agreed with Kick that is time for a monthly refill and was charged $89 for a “visit”. I simply agreed to the next refill, no changes. I can’t stress enough to customer service that no requests were made, no changes to the original order and they refuse to respect it. In real and in other forms of telemedicine, a certain number of refills are usually granted without paying for any kind of extra “visit.” I assumed I would be charged, and am happy to pay for the refilled meds but certainly not charged for agreeing it’s time for the refill. It’s only been one month. There was no interaction with a provider whatsoever so the survey cannot ethically be labeled a “visit” of any kind. I hope Kick will look into adopting an ethics policy. Or at least come clean about why they charge a ludicrous amount for the very little effort they put into their “visits.”

Deceptive, Discourteous, and Not Built With Empathy (Gaslit)

The company advertises 'same-day prescriptions from expert doctors' in their social media ads but fails to deliver on this promise. As someone who has used other telehealth providers like Circle Medical (which genuinely offers 24/7 service), I expected my Sunday submission would be processed that day for my Monday medication needs. When I realized the provider wouldn't review my case on Sunday, I promptly emailed and messaged to cancel the visit. Despite my proactive communication, they charged me and refused to process a refund. The most concerning part was my interaction with the founder after providing feedback. Instead of addressing the service gap, they responded dismissively: - Claimed I was 'the first person ever to complain about this in tens of thousands of visits' - Deflected responsibility by saying 'We are not urgent care' - Questioned where they promised '24-hour service' (though their advertising clearly states 'same-day') - Stalked my personal employment background (“you work in banking”) to use as combative tactic in trying to tell me I’m wrong? (Highly inappropriate and uncomfortable – we’re talking about YOUR business/service, what I do for a living is not relevant) For a company that markets itself as being 'Built With Empathy' and backed by 'People Who Care,' the response was surprisingly defensive and unprofessional. For reference: Cambridge Dictionary defines 'same-day' as 'a service that is provided on the same day that it is ordered.' And while we're sharing definitions, Empathy is defined as 'the ability to share someone else's feelings or experiences by imagining what it would be like to be in that person's situation.' Something to consider for a company claiming to be 'Built With Empathy.' I'm sharing this experience so other potential customers can make an informed decision about their healthcare provider. There are other telehealth options available that truly deliver on their promises and care about feedback from their customer base.

Very bad customer service

Very bad customer service. Did not get the product I ordered. Customer service refused to help or accommodate. Update. Kick is lying. I have been in contact with the pharmacy about my prescription. The pharmacy is aware that I have not received it. I have not gotten a call from you. Even so, it seems Kick only tried to call me once I wrote this review despite trying for several days before to solve this problem through their chat.

The beta blockers have helped me…

The beta blockers have helped me tremendously! I was a bit hesitant at first, but they really work great for those physical symptoms when you get nervous during a speech. I totally recommend, you won’t regret it.

It took many medications before we…

It took many medications before we found one that helped me. My issue with Kick is waiting for my next 10 pills. I end up going a week without them because they haven’t sent them promptly. Why just 10 at a time with at least a week to arrive? It doesn’t make sense.

Sweet dreams at last!

I have struggled with sleeping issues for years.I joined the study and within 30 days the Kick Health team found a safe medication aiding me in the best nights sleeping in years. I feel completely refreshed the ne t day!

Propranolol has been AMAZING for my public speaking anxiety! It’s literally been a game changer for my career and has boosted my confidence tremendously. The only thing I’m upset about is that I didn’t find it sooner. I’ve had no side effects and even have success with doses as low as 5mg.

Zero Customer Service

I ordered a ‘double pack’ from them. The first time it was shipped it came with two small carrier containers and the large bottle has cotton in it to prevent the pills from bouncing around. The second time I got the script in the mail? No little containers, and no cotton. Almost every pill was broken into a coarse dust. I had to guess how much to take every time. I reached out to them to find out how much weight I should take and didn’t receive a response. In my opinion, I should have received a replacement at the very least. I ordered again, only because I need the meds and I don’t have a replacement supplier yet.
