Five Star Properties and Bliss Beach Rentals

Renting our vacation home through Five Star Properties was seemless. The home was just as described. We ran into one problem with the pool heat not working but after notifying Five Star it was resolved. Another thing the furniture in the main living area needs replaced but that had no affect on our vacation. We would definitely book again.

Gorgeous, clean and organized! We loved the Bourbon Breeze, it is rare to find a house this big without stairs. The organization of the golf cart, bikes and chairs at the beach was the icing on top. Thank you for an awesome stay

Beautiful house. Highly recommend it for a large family. The house has everything you need for a comfortable vacation. Just a few steps from the beach and the beach service for chair setup is great! Close to great food and shopping.

I have had great experience with Five Star/Beach Bliss. Their properties are beautiful, high end, well maintained in great locations. I am a detail oriented person and I ask A LOT of questions. The staff was always friendly, patient and kind. They wanted my vacation to be perfect and it showed. I highly recommend and definitely plan to use them again.

We had very rowdy neighbors. I don’t feel like 5star did enough in helping us in the matter. One phone call was, apparently, made to the offending parties rental agency but no follow up and they claimed they never got a call from 5star. It was very bad and I would love to discuss the situation with any executive at 5star

House was nice and comfortable, communication could have been better. I think for us we suffered a bit due to timing, as you just acquired the property right before our arrival. When you replaced the door lock, your locksmith disabled part of the locking mechanism, which would not allow the door to stay locked if you pulled on it. I understand that things can happen, but I did not think your staff reacted appropriately or swiftly to an issue such as a rental that does not have a proper door lock. It could be that this is an issue to some more than others. Even afterwards, the door would only lock from the inside, so if you left, the house was not secure. I personally find this to be an significant issue and I wish you would have reacted to it with more urgency.

Henderson Beach Villa #5 is located in a very convenient location in Crystal Beach just steps to the white sandy beach and emerald water. The view to the gulf is gorgeous. The 4 story unit itself is a beautiful, modern, contemporary design with comfortable beds, a spacious kitchen, 5 bedrooms, a bunk room and 5 1/2 baths. There is a theater room, good in theory but not really functional. There is only seating for 6 and the projection screen is difficult to operate. The rooftop plunge pool was refreshing, although we were disappointed the only access is thru a 3rd floor bedroom via a spiral staircase on the balcony. Seating at the pool consisted of only 3 lounge chairs. For a unit that sleeps 14, more seating is needed for it to be enjoyable for all guests. A table with chairs would be a nice addition under the pool alcove. A washer and dryer on floors 2 and 3 were a nice feature. Having an elevator was so welcomed for transporting luggage to/from the upper levels and for those of us older guests who just could not climb the stairs. There is a gas grill just off the kitchen/living area. Guest relations (Buddy) and maintenance (Ed) were very responsive to our questions and concerns. It's a new construction, so there were a few kinks still needing to be worked out with the TV connections, ceiling fans/lights, and pool heater during our first 3 days of the 9 day rental. The unit could use martini and high ball glassware, clocks, bedside lamps in the 2nd floor front facing bedroom, a laundry basket, and a night light in the stairwell. The coffee pot was a basic Mr. Coffee that did not allow for pouring a cup before the brew cycle was finished. More outdoor seating and more than 2 beach chairs/1 umbrella would be ideal as the only place all guests can gather together is inside at the dining table/bar and lounge area. The shower curtain in the first floor bathroom has bleach stains and needs to be replaced. The drawer knobs in the master bath are way too small making it difficult to pull open the drawers. Multi-plug outlet extenders with USB would be a plus. Overall, our stay was great. Should we choose to splurge again, we wouldn't hesitate to book this unit.

You are a terrible property management company! You screen calls from renters and ignore customer requests! Be ashamed. I will NEVER rent from 5 Star. This is not just an angry review. Great place to stay! It was very clean and we had plenty of space to hang out. When we needed some items the company was very quick to respond and fulfill our request. All of us agree we would stay here again.

For starters the house wasn’t ready at the 4 :00 time. The freezer was not working in the Thermidor side by side and the dryer on third floor sounded like a jet was taking off. It was not cleaned appropriately the kitchen appliances looked like they had not been polished in a while the floors were not mopped and there were hardly any wash cloths in the packs left . It did appear that the kitchen area had been cleaned very well when we pulled out the chairs to sit there were crumbs under the table and chairs.

This was perfect for our large family! The place was clean and had all the amenities we needed. It was the perfect beach family trip! We loved it!

The property’s location is so close to the beach access at The Crab Trap. No need to carry heavy coolers when an outside bar is within steps. Beach service for 4 was provided and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The home it’s self is beginning to show some wear and tear in a couple of places and the living room furniture needs to be replaced. The kitchen was sparse on cooking utensils and the toaster was inoperable. Other than that, the place property was just what we expected from 5 Star. The pool was glorious! We paid for the pool to be heated for an April stay and it truly made up for any interior imperfections. The view was breathtaking! We had an overall wonderful stay and despite the interior flaws I plan to book the property again. Let me say again, the pool and hot tub were glorious! We don’t spend much time indoors unless we have inclement weather. When it rains, there are plenty of other things to do in Destin.

What a great place to stay and the kitchen is really well equipped to come and just stay with your family and friends! LOVED IT! Will definitely rent again.

We stayed at Out of the Blue and thoroughly enjoyed it. The home was beautiful and very spacious, and half a block from the beach. The home was clean and I was most impressed by the presentation of the bedding and bath towels. I felt very comfortable with the sanitation of both. We experienced some minor maintenance issues, but a call to Five Star management and they were resolved in a timely manner. In fact the management team at Five Star were so friendly and accommodating, They’ll be my “go to” for all our future visits. The only recommendation I have is making the doors to the pool more child proof, which would’ve made me sleep easier. Hope this property is available to us for future visits. Thank you

Honestly the best communication I've ever had with a rental company. They seem to truly care that you are comfortable and your accommodations are meeting or exceeding your expectations.

We loved the house! So spacious and direct access to the beach was awesome! I highly recommend it!
