Had sliding doors fitted. 5 star service. Workers were very friendly and did a great job, leaving no mess whatsoever. Will definately use this company again for any home improvements

Faultless

Could not fault the company at all. From having Chris round to talk through the windows, then the surveyor, followed by prep work by the builder Raz and then the installing of the windows by Mark & Kevin. Had no issues, they worked professional, respecting the property and very clean workers. They are not pushy unlike Anglian Windows and this is the first time using EYG.

Order costing 33,000 with EYG they mess it all up

EDIT - after posting they started to do things as per agreed. Ordered works costs 33,000 with EYG, there were the cheapest firm to quote by £2,000 by so this should this is not quote that is too cheap for the works etc. sadly its impossible to get them to actually perform and start work or even provide a start date as apparently there are issues with my order which sales need to resolve but never action.

Pushy Sales -You’ll Never Get Rid

It started off okay. I ordered windows through them but quickly realised that they are very pushy with sales. Salesperson made me order and pay then and there to get the ‘best deal’ and also wanted a man available, my partner, which I found extremely sexist and worrying. Got some sliding doors from them which were half fitted and left in a sorry state. I had to chase up months after to get this sorted which took two attempts to get right. Door wasn’t the right size which was disappointing. Since then I haven’t wanted to use them but I am getting cold called consistently on a weekly basis. Asked them to take me off from their contacts list which still has not been done.

TERRIBLE SERVICE

TERRIBLE SERVICE I really wish I had gone with the more expensive quote from the other company, we had EYG windows and doors fitted years ago, the front bedroom and the back bedroom windows howled whenever it's windy. The front one was sorted but here I am 5 years later still trying to get the back bedroom sorted. The noise is hideous and keeps you awake which ever room you're in. I call them out, get an appointment weeks later that is often cancelled "due to sickness" I once got a team of young lads I didn't even know were coming but they had the wrong info completely. They thought I had a facia hanging off. Last night (10th Feb 2020) no one could sleep because of the howling. I called AGAIN to get it sorted and could only be offered an appointment on the 2nd March. I'm sure it will be either forgotten about or cancelled again because it always does. I hate EYG I wish I'd never heard of them. I wanted to keep my business local, never again they are a bunch of cowboys and once they have your money they really couldn't care less. I wish I could post the recording from last night but one thing for sure, if I ever see anyone talking to EYG sales people in garden centers or shopping centers I will play them the recording and help them avoid years of misery.

Brilliant service from window fitters Louis & Mike.

Now, I wanted to choose a local double glazing firm to replace all of our windows and door. I initially contacted EYG because it is a Hull based firm. I can honestly say from the quote which beat the price of SAFESTYLE window it has been an excellent experience. Window and door fitters Louis and Mike were absolutely brilliant and did a perfect job even to my neighbours noticing the craftsmanship of their fitting expertises which I can’t thank them enough. We would recommend EYG for service and fitting not to mention the quality of the windows as our house is so much warmer now. We did have a problem with the front door which was down to the manufacturer and not EYG. This problem was easily resolved by the fitting of a new door from a different manufacturer supplied by EYG. We are grateful for the service from Louis and Mike and the EYG team.

Absolutely avoid at all costs never had…

Absolutely avoid at all costs never had any specific work done via the company but was approached with a "dodgey motor" from a JOHN KENDELL who apparently works for the company, but then his actual name was MANLITO KINDON (SLIP UP FROM HIS TRAVELLER FRIEND WHEN WE GOT THERE OOOPSSS) it was sign written up in the EYG name with ILLEGAL MILEAGE ! mot register clearly showed the actually mileage dont know how we thought they thought they were going to get away with it bunch of CONMEN and waste of a 90 minute journey !! and to top it all off ended up meeting with the vehicle on the notorious COTTINGLY SPRINGS TRAVELER SITE Absolute CROOKS transit van REGISTRATION BG63 KNF AVOID THESE PEOPLE AT ALL COSTS

What a faff

What a faff! Turned up on the correct day with only half the stuff. Had a call from this office to see if I wanted to go ahead with my quote when they're here reading to put them in. Render was knocked off in various places around the outside of the house. Didn't have any windowsills. Then left the job to complete someone else's after being told 3 days and all finished was more like 2 weeks! The guys that came were fantastic the did their best to compensate someones balls up very polite told us what was going on and why. It wasn't their fault they said they have it all the time. Father and son team Keith and Joe. My husband lost money to stay off so someones at home for 3 days and not 2 weeks. Now some months on the windows are mouldy £6500 it cost me and I'm not happy Everytime I call I bet told to ring another number instead of being out through and for top that off I still get calls now to see if I want windows and doors doing!!! It's a bloody joke.

Keep deposit for 5 weeks

Took our deposit on a Sunday (£1500) called within the cooling off period to cancel and was promised our deposit back, 5 weeks and many calls/emails later finally get a cheque even though we paid by credit card so they broke the law there and it accrued £30 interest that I've got to pay and when they were out at our property to quote they tried writing down my credit card number and 3 digit security number which is totally against the GDPR rules! Avoid at all costs, thank God we never paid the £26k for DG and conservatory - In answer to they're reply they never called me back once I did all the calling so no you didn't call for my credit card no. yet another lie

WARNING...proceed with care!

I would warn everyone to carefully consider using EYG for any work that cannot be classed as ‘standard’ or straightforward. I engaged them to replace a polycarbonate conservatory roof with a ‘hybrid’ roof...an insulated aluminium roof with glass window panels. The cost was £15,200...so I expected a top quality job. As work progressed I realised that a neat quality finish was not happening, the boarding out and the plastering were rough, and straight lines & a smooth finish were foreign to the fitters & the plasterer. My requests for remedial work were met less than enthusiastically by the general manager, but the work was eventually completed to an acceptable standard when I persisted-but the whole job took 4 long months instead of the expected 1 month! I believe the main problems stemmed from EYG using sub contractors only, & the work on site being totally unsupervised. It was made worse when the manager was unwilling to accept there were problems with the work. As a customer spending a considerable sum, it is distressing to be treated with such disregard when faults are pointed out. I received a small reduction in the bill but will not use EYG again.

Why does EYG still continue to cold call me?

EYG still continue to cold call me, eventhough I told them countless times in the last 5 years that I am not interested. I am so glad that I never brought anything from them, as based on this already negative experience, this is their true colours and how they would treat their cutomers. I want nothing to do with EYG and will not change my mind in a million years! I will continue to post negative feedback for you, until you stop cold calling me! It's 30th May 2022 and just received another cold call, I've blocked their old number, but they are so tricky to evade. EYG are beyond useless!

they do not call you back

Have rang them 3 times today regarding a letter they sent to say our quote has gone up £1250.00. Wanting to speak to some one but no one is calling us back. I want my deposit back and will go else where.
