I hv been with EL for like 13-14 yrs. and it’s an amazing Tution center. The way their tutors teach is absolutely remarkable. But they shud try introducing cheaper Tution options for struggling families.

Repeated changing of tutors which was…
Repeated changing of tutors which was very unsettling. Not being informed when tutors leave. Compared to 1:1 tuition I think it is suboptimal. I wouldn't waste nearly £200. Very disappointing

I have found Explore Learning to be…
I have found Explore Learning to be really helpful to my daughter’s progress in Maths and English. She is in Year 4 and has worked well in the centre and at home. She enjoys the skills points and certificates. She is now starting the 11 plus package. She is making good progress on this. The centre staff are friendly and welcoming. Thank you for supporting her journey.

Very disappointing
My child has been with Explore Learning Finchley for 4 years. The 2 years of pandemic were very beneficial and he made great progress. At the time, the management was great and even if tutors kept changing every 2 months, we were advised on time and replacement tutors were briefed accordingly. Since a year it’s been a disaster. Not because of the tutors who are always good and professional but because of the management. The management have changed too many times, the tutors are never the same, the replacement tutors are not briefed at all and my child has not made progress as expected. I had a long talk with the management who does not acknowledge all those issues, or instead of installing new processes, just keep apologising. Very very disappointing. Just go with a face to face 1:1 tutor who will be the same person each time and will be able to support your child’s academic journey consistently.

two daughters nailed the +11
My two daughters attended Explore learning sessions on line during year 5 and they both passed the +11 and were admitted to a grammar school. When we first started our cooperation with Explore, the pandemic had all the centres shut so you could only have online sessions. Nevertheless, the platform is amazing with nice and colourful visualisation, the print is large and very accessible, and the work is tailored so that if a child doesn't master a particular skill, the question comes up again and again. We have been blessed with tutors who were friendly, patient, understanding and guaranteed consistency and commitment. We felt that the tutors were professional and we were always safe leaving the girls ..'in their company ..' even if just on line. The management is simply amazing and it feels like they are family now. It was sad to say goodbye but I highly recommend Explore Learning if you desire tuition online.

My son has been going to Explore…
My son has been going to Explore Learning for the past 10 years( from 5 years old). They really helped him with reading when he started, when he started school he was one of the few children who could read very well thanx to Explore Learning. We live in the area where our catchment area school is not very good and going to Explore Learning helps my son a lot especially with maths. I wish they offered one to one tutoring as well and other subjects like physics and computing science. But even with just the English and maths it’s helpful
