Used Enact to remortgage. Pretty smooth process, kept informed throughout. Got a response via the messaging option when needed and got through on the phone every time I called. Would use Enact again.

Having gone through the conveyancing process several times in the past, the Enact portal was straightforward and easy use, both in terms of being given information and having to provide information. Made a headache of a process pretty painless!

Enact recently helped complete our remortgage. The process was managed well and their website portal was easy to navigate, follow progress, access/download documents as well as raise questions/queries. They were also easy to contact via phone when needed. Overall, a good experience.

Remortgaging with Natwest, Enact was part of the deal. Its been 10 weeks and Enact claim they still haven't received my case from Natwest. I have phoned Natwest on 3 occasions, they claim to have sent the case twice. I have phoned Enact 3 occasions, on every occasion they claim not to have received the case and that I should phone Natwest again. I have nowhere to turn paying high interest on my current mortgage.

No updates, no response to questions on chat, no call back (requested daily for over a week), phone number straight to voicemail. I am not sure what I am paying Β£1000 for as it appears advice about conveyancing isn't available and no progress in 2 months. Unable or unwilling to provide a break down of work completed to date. Quick to add charges eg Β£100+VAT to complete within the same week as exchange. Suggest available until 8pm but no conveyancing staff available after 5pm. Respond to feedback advising escalated to senior manager but no note on file when I tried to call this evening.

Enact was prompt and responded to my queries in a timely manner. There were a few teething issues but they quickly resolved them. I was kept updated as the process went along and this meant i did not have to chase them.

Unprofessional, uncommunicative, and an infuriating experience. I would not recommend to anyone seeking a stress-free process. They have shown no urgency with my case which began in April this year, and it is simply a remortgage! Sheer incompetence.
