Excellent service, initially I was thinking about letting the house but decided to sell so I had dealings with both sales and lettings departments. Very supportive staff who personally kept me well informed at every stage, plus an easy to use online portal. Special thanks to Helen (Lettings) and Carol (Sales). Emsleys in Sherburn in Elmet are a first class agency.

Making the choice to sell the house with Elmsleys it was a great experience from start to end. The valuation was spot on and managed to agree a sale in just 6 days being on the market. Victoria who did the valuation and initiated the sale was great and very professional. but the ladies who handled the case in the Rothwell office were amazing! Maria Hamill was friendly, understanding and extremely helpful dealing with our queries while the case was with the solicitors. Her contact was fantastic making sure that all the queries were answered and we understand the process. I would highly recommend Emsleys and especially the Rothwell office. Thank you for your help

Very professional service from the Garforth office. Emna performed the Valuation and pictures, preparing a very good presentation of our home. She offered valuable advise both before we engaged Emsleys and after. 2 Viewings on day after we went live. Offer received the following day. Emsleys were not able to staff the viewings and I had to perform both. They had to do very little work to earn there fee. Lisa and Amber were available to answer queries through out the Sale process. There help was especially appreciated whilst we were in Canada and had to deal with specific buyer concerns. The ProoertyFile website portal to see Sales Progression is a good idea but let down by poor execution. Often updates would only occur on Seller side when we provided the office with an update. The Buyers Progression updates were even slower. The day before Completion, only 12 of 18 steps were showing as done. A knowledgeable, professional and friendly Garforth team helped our house sale progress with few issues. Recommended.

Crossgates Emsleys We listed our house with Emsleys due to the benefit of receiving a discount from Emsleys solicitors when selling with Emsleys. We have now been with the crossgates branch for 12 weeks and have received a total of 3 viewings on our house during this time. When we listed our house in December we weren’t expecting many viewings due to the time of year (even though 2 of the 3 were in December). And as we got to January, Emsleys ensured us things were picking up. Through the whole of January, we received 1 viewing (a couple who couldn’t afford anywhere near asking), and we we’re assured the office was picking up in February. We have yet to have a viewing in Feb. There seems to be no real explanation as to why our property is receiving lots of RightMove views yet no viewings. We reduced our price in January as per their advice, but this doesn’t seem to have made a difference. We have handed in our notice (bare in mind, they require 14 days notice in which they have assured us they will do their best to sell our property) and we will be using another agent.

The team in the Sherburn In Elmet office could not be better. Following a bad experience with another estate agent the team were fantastic at reassuring us and supporting us with our house sale. The photos were brilliant along with a lovely brochure and write up. They are really proactive at booking viewings and getting the right people through the door. Once we had accepted an offer they then supported us right through the process of the sale as well. What a lovely bunch of people, could not have been happier with this experience.

Fantastic service from the Sherburn in Elmet branch. Emma handled my sale and purchase from start to finish and it was due to her expert handling of my purchase that I chose to use Emsleys to sell my property. Through the highs and lows of solicitor progression Emma was professional at every point and clearly motivated to get the chain moving. I only occasionally spoke to other members of the team but everyone was always friendly, quick to assist and helpful. I highly recommend and will approach Emsleys again for buying and selling in the future. Thank you!

Top class Estate Agent (Rothwell branch). The house we are currently in was up with Emsleys, nothing was too much trouble as they were doing the viewings and we went a fair few times to measure up etc. We've just sold the same house with them, very efficient & friendly from the off, within a day the house was on the market, excellent pictures too. Viewed and sold the next day! Great communication from the whole team. Well done Rothwell team. We would highly recommend.
