Dixons Erdington Letting Services

Dixons Erdington, are a subsidiary of Countrywide run from their Warwick office. They provided abysmal management of my property. They missed 10 inspections over 5 years, lost the original contract, failed to handle tenant communications and their convoluted processes lead to repeated mistakes. Manager Raza Muhammad ignored my correspondence, was borderline aggressive when spoken to on the phone (the single time he spoke to me) and failed to provide the requested Terms of Business or confirm a move-out inspection, leaving me unaware of my property’s condition for re-letting. The branch was inexplicably closed during opening hours when I arrived to collect my keys, despite prior notification. The complaints department then made a series of derisory compensation offers putting their own interests before their customers. Completely unprofessional, always act like they’re doing you a favour, despite the fact you pay them for services they fail to fulfil. Use the lettings services if you are content that the Terms of Business you sign will be lost and misrepresented at every opportunity so they don’t have to do their job. Terrible.

Harassed my sister with multiple…

Harassed my sister with multiple relentless calls after we went with another local estate agent for the sale of my mother’s house after her death. Despite telling them we were in a contract with another estate agent they did not stop and my sister blocked them.

Lack of care and respect for customers

Had arranged two viewings through Dixons (Quinton) - for the first viewing the agent told me only 15 minutes before the viewing that she was going to be 15 minutes late (I was already on my way), I arrived only to find out eventually that she was actually 45 minutes late, when we called to try and find out where she was our calls to the Dixon’s office continually rang through to voicemail. We (stupidly) arranged a second viewing a week later - this one was in my work lunch hour which I had made clear, I only had a small time frame to view the property. Once again the agent was 15 minutes late and once again my calls went unanswered - she eventually rang me to tell me she had arrived at which point I had already given up and started walking home. We received no apology. An overall atrocious customer experience with a lack of care and respect for people’s time.

Disgusting service

I have tried to contact Dixons on several occasions left messages no one has ever called me back. I did an experiment and called each of the 20 branches and all of them went to answer machine. Absolutely disgusting service. It's ok for them at the moment because the market is booming but watch this space when they need your custom. I am an investor buying and selling houses all the time, I would NEVER use them to market my properties

KINGS HEATH BRANCH DIXONS Avoid at all costs. I have never come across a bunch of lazy incompetent clowns in the years of buying and selling properties. They do not and will not get back to you, all you get is an answer machine, will not progress any offers, how and why this company is still in business, I will never know?, shame on you Kings Heath Branch, you know in particular who this is referring to!….‘Talk the Talk….but has no idea how to ‘Walk the Walk’, waste of space, hang your hat up buddy and let the professionals do the job properly, rant over🤬

Poor service.once sale is completed…

Poor service.once sale is completed staff become very unhelpful and rude.they also dishonest in their approach.ask me to pay deposit several months before the sale .many to get my deposit only after complaining.overall I had a very bad experience .they knew we were first time buyer at the time.

Would give 0 star if could

Would give 0 star if could. This Estate Agents has no idea to sell a property. Four times had to contact them to get the description and price corrected. It was beyond belief how wrong and incompetent they were with the handling of our sale. They put it on the internet to sell without reading what they had actually put and they had put incorrect price twice, probably losing out on a sale. In the end we had to withdraw. There was no apology no response to our numerous emails and texts. Very unprofessional. Wasted months of possible lost sales. Cannot recommend from our view and experience.

I recently dealt with a young lady called Tara from the Dixons office who provided the most efficient and professional service that i have ever experienced with regards to renting a house. I highly recommend Tara and dixons of lichfields for rentals.

Professional/Efficient/Delivered- Dixon Quinton

Wow - What an absolute incredible Lettings manager. I cannot thank him enough For his outstanding help from the start. Micheal marketing my property on Monday and had it let within 24hrs very impressive. Coming from an appalling Experience from another local estate agent (Black country homes) I was very anxious about how to move forward but Micheal reassured me And made me realised why they are good at what they do within their field. Michaels team are lucky to have him. Micheal went above and beyond to let my property his actions have shown this. The commutation with Dixons Is first class And they have made me feel at ease with what was a very stressful time. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Dixons To anyone in the area. Thank you

I will now tell you my experience…

I will now tell you my experience regarding this agency. Husband and I moved in a property in 2020, I was pregnant back then with my first kid. 2 weeks after we moved, the boiler broke. We immediately contacted the agency and let them know, pleas note, a boiler broken is an urgent matter as we had no hot water or heating. They sent a dude that said that thing was older than his kid and he's shocked regarding the state it is in. Well the landlord then asked another guy to come and check it out, dude took 2 more weeks to come and fix it. I spent 3 weeks in total, pregnant and ready to pop, without heating and hot water. Had to boil water on the stove and wash myself like that. We said, whatever, after getting it finally fixed, we minded our own business and didn't bother them with anything else....even started fixing stuff ourselves because we knew we won't get a reply. Well a month ago, we reported rodents and a leak....a LEAK in one of the bedroom, which again please note it's an urgent matter. Reported both and we are still waiting for a reply. We all left the house to visit parents outside the country and surprise surprise when we came back the whole house was covered in rat/mouse poop and pee. During this time, I kept sending them emails regarding these issue....nothing....they only send back automated messages that "oh we tried to contact landlord" or "we are sorry landlord didn't answer, we'll keep you updated". Right.... When I called the guys on the phone was mocking me that "oh, you guys never seen a rat or had one in the house?". Really? You're telling me, that I should just accept the fact that there is a rodent going crazy in my house and made me throw good food because you couldn't get bothered to bring someone to kill it.... I won't even being the leak in the discussion, when something is labeled as "urgent" and you take over a month to fix that issue...that's not an urgent matter then. Please avoid this agency, they don't care about you as a tenant and won't help you out with the issues you have. They are very fast to send renewal contracts with 3-4 months before your tenancy contract expires and email you every day until you make up your mind and even call you, but won't do anything if you contact them with a problem.

Happy with Dixons Lichfield

I have been very happy with Dixons Lichfield. Marie has supported me and my husband with selling the house the whole way through. She was always there when I had a query and return my calls. When anything needed chasing she has done so. She was making sure that we have as many viewings as possible and when completion kept getting delayed, she ensured to be on the case and chase the chain. Thank you Marie. 😊

I had a viewing but .....

I was asked to provide proof of fund before even being able to view a property to buy. When I said I am not happy to do this before viewing the property as I am not sure if I want to place an offer on it yet, my viewing was cancelled. This is such a violation of privacy and lack of professionalism....
