Dixons Erdington Letting Services

Dixons Erdington, are a subsidiary of Countrywide run from their Warwick office. They provided abysmal management of my property. They missed 10 inspections over 5 years, lost the original contract, failed to handle tenant communications and their convoluted processes lead to repeated mistakes. Manager Raza Muhammad ignored my correspondence, was borderline aggressive when spoken to on the phone (the single time he spoke to me) and failed to provide the requested Terms of Business or confirm a move-out inspection, leaving me unaware of my property’s condition for re-letting. The branch was inexplicably closed during opening hours when I arrived to collect my keys, despite prior notification. The complaints department then made a series of derisory compensation offers putting their own interests before their customers. Completely unprofessional, always act like they’re doing you a favour, despite the fact you pay them for services they fail to fulfil. Use the lettings services if you are content that the Terms of Business you sign will be lost and misrepresented at every opportunity so they don’t have to do their job. Terrible.

Harassed my sister with multiple relentless calls after we went with another local estate agent for the sale of my mother’s house after her death. Despite telling them we were in a contract with another estate agent they did not stop and my sister blocked them.

Lack of care and respect for customers

Had arranged two viewings through Dixons (Quinton) - for the first viewing the agent told me only 15 minutes before the viewing that she was going to be 15 minutes late (I was already on my way), I arrived only to find out eventually that she was actually 45 minutes late, when we called to try and find out where she was our calls to the Dixon’s office continually rang through to voicemail. We (stupidly) arranged a second viewing a week later - this one was in my work lunch hour which I had made clear, I only had a small time frame to view the property. Once again the agent was 15 minutes late and once again my calls went unanswered - she eventually rang me to tell me she had arrived at which point I had already given up and started walking home. We received no apology. An overall atrocious customer experience with a lack of care and respect for people’s time.

Title: Disappointment and Frustration with Dixon Birmingham Erdington's Property Management

**Title: Disappointment and Frustration with Dixon Birmingham Erdington'sProperty Management** As a landlord, I entrusted Dixon Erdington with the management of my rental property, hoping for a professional and seamless experience. Unfortunately, my experience has been nothing short of frustrating and disappointing. First and foremost, the lack of initial inventory documentation is a glaring oversight. This basic and crucial step ensures clarity and accountability for both the landlord and tenant. Dixon Erdington's failure to perform this task left me vulnerable to potential disputes over property conditions at the end of the tenancy. Communication with Dixon Erdington is another major issue. Their team rarely answers phone calls, and what's even more frustrating is the absence of follow-up on voicemails. As a landlord, I expect timely and efficient communication, especially when concerns regarding the property arise. This aspect of their service has been severely lacking, leaving me feeling ignored and unsupported. Perhaps the most concerning issue is their apparent neglect to visit the property at any point. Regular inspections are a fundamental aspect of property management, ensuring that the property is being cared for and that tenants are abiding by the terms of their lease. Dixon Erdington's absence from the actual site demonstrates a concerning level of negligence and disregard for both the property and my interests as a landlord. In summary, Dixon Erdington's management services have fallen significantly short of my expectations. Their lack of communication, failure to complete an initial inventory, and absence from the property indicate a severe lack of professionalism. I strongly advise other landlords to consider alternative management options to avoid the frustrating experience that I have endured.

Korron was nothing but helpful when I purchased my property, first time buyer, not a clue what I was doing and she kept me updated all the way and offered help in anyway she could, I would not have had a full understanding of the process without her. I will be using dixons in kings Norton again for my next property purchase, thank you Korron

Excellent Job Dixons - Thanks

Ricky and his team did an excellent job in selling our property. Ricky was immediately on the ball and ensured the buyer could proceed with the sale before committing. Thanks to Ricky the sale was very smooth. I would have no hesitation in recommending Dixons.

DIXONS HALESOWEN

Avoid using the mortgage service at Dixons Halesowen. Dixons itself, great, but Bal signed us up to an insurance we told him we didn’t require and we are nearly £1000 out of pocket because of it and apparently it’s ’not his problem’ when we spoke to him about it. I really hope he doesn’t do this to other people but have no doubt this will happen again. The stress this has put us under is awful, especially being heavily pregnant. Please be careful guys and ensure you always have someone with you to witness conversations. The company have dealt with it terribly and we are now in this horrible situation. No remorse or apology from them. Disgusting.

Awful experience as a buyer with Dixons Kidderminster. Very rude staff member who communicated poorly and shared contact details without consent, lost sale as a result.
