Dixons Erdington, are a subsidiary of Countrywide run from their Warwick office. They provided abysmal management of my property. They missed 10 inspections over 5 years, lost the original contract, failed to handle tenant communications and their convoluted processes lead to repeated mistakes. Manager Raza Muhammad ignored my correspondence, was borderline aggressive when spoken to on the phone (the single time he spoke to me) and failed to provide the requested Terms of Business or confirm a move-out inspection, leaving me unaware of my property’s condition for re-letting. The branch was inexplicably closed during opening hours when I arrived to collect my keys, despite prior notification. The complaints department then made a series of derisory compensation offers putting their own interests before their customers. Completely unprofessional, always act like they’re doing you a favour, despite the fact you pay them for services they fail to fulfil. Use the lettings services if you are content that the Terms of Business you sign will be lost and misrepresented at every opportunity so they don’t have to do their job. Terrible.
Harassed my sister with multiple relentless calls after we went with another local estate agent for the sale of my mother’s house after her death. Despite telling them we were in a contract with another estate agent they did not stop and my sister blocked them.
Had arranged two viewings through Dixons (Quinton) - for the first viewing the agent told me only 15 minutes before the viewing that she was going to be 15 minutes late (I was already on my way), I arrived only to find out eventually that she was actually 45 minutes late, when we called to try and find out where she was our calls to the Dixon’s office continually rang through to voicemail. We (stupidly) arranged a second viewing a week later - this one was in my work lunch hour which I had made clear, I only had a small time frame to view the property. Once again the agent was 15 minutes late and once again my calls went unanswered - she eventually rang me to tell me she had arrived at which point I had already given up and started walking home. We received no apology. An overall atrocious customer experience with a lack of care and respect for people’s time.

Tracy and Hayley at Dixons Willenhall are brilliant. I started dealing with Tracy and she was great and a nice lady and then I was handed over to Hayley and she really pushed for everything to be completed. Good team for sure. Thank you Dixons

The good: my experience of viewings with Dixons Northfield has been pleasant. Friendly associate, on-time, knowledgeable etc. and response times have been good. The bad: although I wasn't interested in moving forward with properties I viewed with Dixons Northfield, they wouldn't actually know that, because no one followed up with me for feedback... But the even bigger issue for me is in regard to valuations - I already had 3 other agents coming to value my property that I chose for my own reasons and I really didn't have time to schedule more than this due to a busy schedule, but Dixons Northfield just don't take 'no' for an answer! I was first pressured over the phone to keep a valuation I didn't really want to book in the first place, to the point that when I tried to cancel the second time, I did so in writing to avoid a conversation like that, but I received no response so couldn't avoid calling again, then when I did manage to cancel, I had another associate (not even 2 days later) asking if I would rebook it even though I had already signed a contract with another agent. I recognise it's business, but I do not appreciate being hassled by phone calls when I have already been clear in my decline. As a result of this, I have now been put off of viewing further properties with Dixons Northfield as I would rather have as little contact with them as possible

They gave excellent advice on property sale, maintained good communications throughout, acted professionally at all times. Appointments were met punctually. Dan was a great point of contact after his initial visit, and my interactions with all members of the team were top notch.

DO NOT USE DIXONS SELLYOAK- we rented our house through DIXONS SellyOak for 1 year. Our house was to be managed and agreed regular contact to keep us updated that the house was in the immaculate condition it was given to them. The property was not monitored or maintained there was no contact from the agents or visits undertaken until we complained following a visit to the property. We ended the contract for the tenants to leave at the end of their contract. Another month in our house. We entered the property which took us 5 days to clean with faeces down the radiators and all over the floors. Damaged high gloss kitchen bathroom suite dirt and grime everywhere. The deposits team awarded us £270.00 to replace and repair although they had the cheek to still take their management fees. Complaints are a waste of time it’s just an email process. I would not recommend DIXONS as an agent for renting buying or selling they are useless !!! They don’t look after your home at all they are just happy to make a quick buck - robbers 🤬🤬🤬🤬. DONT USE THEM BEWARE EVERYONE !!!

DO NOT USE DIXONS HALESOWEN IN-HOUSE BUILDING SURVEYORS & MORTGAGE COMPANY £20000 OUT OF POCKET ! . I purchased a house from them and used there building home buyer surveyor and mortgage company as I felt pressured to take the service as they said they had lots of buyers for the house and that they would only sell if I taken a mortgage with them . I had the report come back from Dixons building surveyors saying the house was fine and in good state . I was then put on a high interest mortgage rate which I questioned but yet again told that was the best deal and gave me the rights to buy now . Received the keys 2 weeks ago from the sales manager Matthew who was rushing to get me out of the branch as he was busy and load and be behold all issues came to light . Found subsidence at the front of house , the walls were all damp in the living room and kitchen which have now been found that there been a leak that been there for long time .all windows were blown , the electrics had faulty wiring and has to be condemned . I had to get an independent survey done after getting the keys and it found out that the house is in serious state of repair ! . It’s now going to cost me over £20000 out of my own money which if Dixons didn’t give a false home building surveyor I wouldn’t of brought the house but I guess that’s how they scam people . All the problems with the house and the Dixons scam I’ve now had to take this to legal matters as I have been falsely sold this house with the state of repair and the evidence shows this. If I could give a zero I would . Always do your research and go elsewhere then Dixons Halesowen. BE CAREFULL !

Dixons Moseley branch managed a property I rented for two years. My tenancy got off to a bad start when the property was left in a bad state after being assured upon viewing that the place would be cleaned, paint refreshed, grass cut, and broken meter boxes repaired. None of this was done. Then heard nothing from them until after terminating the tenancy. Despite requesting my deposit back immediately after vacating the property, Dixons sat on my £1,100 deposit for FIVE WEEKS. I discovered that it wasn't even passed to the team dealing with deposit returns for four weeks. Every staff member I dealt with lacked accountability, professionalism and empathy for my situation (having needed the money to feed my family after an expensive home move). I can only assume they make money from illegal withholding of people's deposits.
