Good experience. Some of the attorneys read too much into what we needed and wanted to create a complex product, however several identified that we needed a rather simple product and gave good bids and fulfilled our need. Will use again.

$900 for an attorney to tell me 6 times that the other party (property management) would send a renewal notice at EOY and I simply need not sign it. I asked and re-asked. I am not a legal expert, hence my hiring contractscounsel.com and choosing who they presented as a highly rated attorney in this field. Guess what? No notice of renewal. I have now had to additionally hire an attorney outside of contractscounsel.com to actually write letters and tell me the real situation. You cannot trust the advice given on this website.

The intuitive user interface for setting up a project, hiring a lawyer/attorney, and communicating with them is great. I paid half the fee upfront, but now I’m waiting for initial lawyer interaction. This is bit unsettling to pay and wait to be contacted. Some consumers might not like it. I paid with credit card so I’m not too worried. I also am not hard up for money. Just paying half upfront for high dollar project could intimidate some customers. I messaged my hired lawyer via Contracts Council website portal and was responded to within about an hour. I need to still discuss my project with them to make sure they fully understand. I will try to remember to update review based on my developing experience.

I loved using Contract Counsel! Initial filter allowed me to narrow my search to prospects who were relevant including their hourly rates. It allowed several lawyers to respond with a flat fee for my specific job and then send me a message with their bid to get a feel for their style and level of interest.
