Hertz in OR Tambo airport Jhb. SA needs to manage pick up processes in a better manner. It took far too long. The side window of the vw combi was faulty but a car swop in Nelspruit outside Kruger Park was arranged and carried with a minimum of fuss

3rd party company Let them down
Carrentals themselves were really efficient. And managed my booking with professionalism. Even when I had to make changes to my booking shortly before my collection date. However the 3rd party company (Budget) were more slack. I'd arranged a collection time. And when I turned up right on time, they hadn't even cleaned it ready for use! Then, halfway through cleaning it. They noticed it needed a service. So swapped me to a similar vehicle. Later on that day (when darkness set in) I had to pull over on the hard shoulder of the M6, to clean the interior of ALL of the windows. As I could not see anything!! I would recommend Carrentals. But I don't think I'd go through Budget again.
