If I could leave a 0, I would, absolute joke, my gf got this as a Christmas present which cost her £40. Then you get there and enforced to pay £2 parking. And then you pay £29 for insurance, in case you crash it, when it is impossible to as the passenger who’s in control of your car (really) tells you to slow down on the only straight there is. Was forced to stay in the third gear the whole way around the track, providing no real acceleration. As I deem myself a petrolhead it is a complete waste of money, go and hire an s3 for £300 a day, and you will have 1 million times the fun. I only had 3 laps of 2 different cars, none of them being looked after the TPMS barking off the whole time, engine lights on. Tried to change gear in the GTR and it didn’t work 🤣. GTR had a smashed windscreen, must be why you can’t go above 50mph, in case it caves in and then they have to pay for their car with your £29. This experience is really made on who you are paired with, I felt more under pressure than in my driving test, in case I went over 2k revs, getting lectured for downshifting to listen to the sound of a supercar you would rarely hear on the streets. Unless you spend MAJOR money you are just ‘put to the back of the queue.’ What I mean by this is that, unless you pay for hot laps, passenger rides, high speed chases. You will be forgotten. Across the 6 laps I had the passenger grab the wheel 5 times. The lap isn’t even a km, about 40% of the whole thing I actually had control of the car. Everyone who is not the normal working adult benefits. I had to go about 30mph half of the way around as I was behind a 12 year old in a Lamborghini and couldn’t touch the pedals.🤣 But me who actually spends their hard earned money on as a little treat to myself - doesn't reap any benefits. I could triple what I have to say above - yeah really that bad. NEVER AGAIN. Very dissappointed to say the least.

CON CON CON!!!! Avoid this company like the plague, they'll send you amazing offers and then when you try and book the Experience the cars won't be available, the tracks won't be available, they want more money etc etc. They won't give you callbacks as promised, Rob and Claire their managers totally waste your time and fob you off. All they say is they won't refund as it's in their terms and conditions hidden away somewhere and the cars will become available on another date which they never are. Then they just want to upsell or Cheese you off that much that you don't use your day and they get money for doing nothing. They've even taken their office number off their website and are deliberately as awkward as possible and downright rude once you've handed over money. They even ignored an email where I asked if it was safe or they had any disability aids for somebody that's just had a spinal operation. They just don't answer and blatant about keeping your money. I don't think they should be allowed to trade so please don't waste your money. Looking at other reviews about the company of people that did actually go they get fed on the day and it's very badly organised.

Just wanted to post a quick review to say how great these guys are. I recently had to make an amendment to a booking, due to my own error. While the company had no obligation to change my booking they went above and beyond to arrange an alternative date/venue to suit us. My grandson was devastated to think he’d miss out but the staff were able to sort it out. They replied to correspondence almost immediately. A pleasure to deal with. * I’ll add to this post after the event which I’m sure will be equally fabulous. Well done guys, that’s excellent customer service.

The staff were absolutely fantastic to talk to, they were understanding at any slip ups and very helpful. Plus one of the staff and I had a good laugh which I found really helped going into the car for the first time. The only down side was I booked a drive for my boyfriend and he was waiting well over the time slot booked for his drive and I added mine on upon the day, we had to ask the staff when his drive was. Luckily when asked they managed to sort it straight away. Apart from that mishap we both had such an amazing time, spent way more money than what we were intending to and will totally come back every summer.

Excellent driving experience, loads of fantastic cars and great advice from experienced instructors. Only taking 1 star off as there was a lot of waiting between drives, we were here for 4hours in total.

Amazing service

Bought it for our two boys and there enjoyed the driving however from the minute you pull in the car park there want more money from you, £2 parking, £10pp for the three of us to go together and worst of all £29 for each of the boys (£58) as n insurance waiver incase there cause any damage, I can’t see how you can blame a 12 & 13 year old when there is instructors in with them, £5 for there lanyard each, £25 for the photos each and to top it off the food van van out of food and drinks by 13:20. I wouldn’t book again and would recommend it to anyone without telling them the extra costs.

A fantastic day out with some really talented team members including the instructors and all of the admin team including Dragos and Rachel. The day was topped by the incredible euphoria which the ATOM made me feel! Highly recommended particularly when lenny waves with barks - Lenny is one of the instructors dogs!

We had an unforgettable day with Car Chase Heroes! From start to finish, the staff went above and beyond – especially when it came to looking after my disabled son during his Fast & Furious experience. He was absolutely thrilled to be driven around in incredible replicas from the movies, and the smile on his face said it all. The highlight was definitely the two high-speed laps in the Atom – what an adrenaline rush! The driver made him feel completely safe and included, and I can't thank them enough. Even the car park attendants were helpful and friendly – it really made a difference and added to the welcoming, supportive atmosphere of the whole day. A huge thank you to everyone at Car Chase Heroes – you made a young man’s dream come true, and we’ll never forget it.

Considering what the experience could have been like, the Truck Experience left me completely underwhelmed. Shunting a truck up and down a car park area a couple of times was somewhat less than I had imagined and hoped for. Admittedly a 20 minute session is somewhat limiting, but nevertheless the day could, and should, have been so much more rewarding

We bought my son the experience for part of his 18th present, extended the voucher (due to him not organising himself) and he eventually used it last Sunday. We drove straight past the turning into the Tockwith site to begin with, as the sign had blown down but once we realised it was in the same place as the Go Karting Track, it was pretty straightforward to park up and get down to the booking in area. All of the members of staff we dealt with were really helpful and the people who go out in the cars are great - super friendly and knowledgable. My son drove his first choice of car, a Toyota Supra, an hour and 15 mins after arriving and he then chose to take up an option of swapping his second choice of car, as the rain was heading our way. It helped to reduce the amount of time he was waiting and he ended up in a Hellcat. He was glad he switched, as he loved it! He also took the opportunity to go around the track in an Atom and he said that was an amazing experience. Was it a basic in terms of facilities while you were waiting? Yes. Was there a fair bit of hanging around in between drives? Yes. Would he go again? Absolutely! Take a camping chair, a coat & brolly (if there’s a chance of rain) and go and enjoy it. Also remember to hand in your SD card/lanyard pouch as you leave. There isn’t really a check out process and we somehow completely missed the media truck on our way out, so we actually set off home with his pack. Luckily, we’d only got just up the road before we realised the lanyard and pouch was still around his neck, so we quickly spun round and dropped it off but it would have been easy to have got all the way home with it. I believe there’s quite a hefty penalty - so make sure you hand it in before you leave. All in all though, he had a great day and his loved his experience.

I was bought this gift for my birthday, I booked for the York track. Who were very organised, run like clockwork. I Was really apprehensive driving these high powered cars. But absolutely loved it. The instructors sat by your side were brilliant, I felt at ease. Have to say Alan in the McLaren was brilliant, great guy. I could have stayed there all day. Highly recommend

My experience with Car Chase Heroes was disappointing and not something I would recommend. The event felt heavily focused on upselling at every turn – from limited car availability unless you pay extra, to mandatory damage insurance fees, charges for photos and videos, additional laps, and even a fee for a supposedly essential passenger ride in a Golf GTI to “familiarise” yourself with the track. There was also an extra fee for a faster passenger experience, which I declined. The cars themselves were in poor condition, with interiors in disrepair, making for an unpleasant driving experience. The track was very short and overcrowded, which, combined with inconsistent instructor quality and heavy micromanagement, meant you couldn’t truly enjoy driving the cars or reach any meaningful speeds. In fact, the drive in my own car to and from the venue was far more enjoyable. To top it off, accessing the customer car park involved driving over rough terrain that could easily damage your suspension or tyres. Overall, the experience fell well below expectations.

Booked police interceptor with high speed passenger ride at the York track unfortunately I did not get the high speed passenger ride as the person booking me in did not write it on my card. Lots of up selling have to pay extra on a Saturday and have to pay £29 collision damage waiver as you are responsible for other drivers on the track and there are alot! This prevents from going fast and having that race track experience. Overall as well as the voucher which was a present I paid an £54 and they still missed part of the experience.
