I have had an outstanding complaint unresloved since November 2024

I have had an outstanding complaint since November 2024. In the 1 year 1 was issued with two very large bills over 1k each time (I live in a 1 bed apartment and work in the office for reference) so this just did not make sense to me. The issue is still on going, that bill was suppose to be frozen until the issue was resolved but as of last week I am now down 1k as the amount was taken from my bank. I have found it very difficult or at all possible to get updates on this situation from the complaint team. the Customer service operators have tired their best to help but as there is no direct contact to the complaint team this issue is just causing unnecessary stress and anxiety.

Everything back to normal

I recently had to change my review. When I first switched to Boardgaish it looked like my first bill it's going to be issued after four months, but they gradually extended the period between bills so I didn't even noticed significant difference.

Excellent BGE annual boiler service

I have a BGE annual service plan for my two boilers (split system). Unusually, I overlooked booking my service this year (as I had been expecting to upgrade the system but that has been delayed). I received a reminder from BGE and was able to book a service (there had been a cancellation) on a Saturday at a couple of days notice. The engineer gave me the option of an earlier time slot; worked quickly, efficiently and tidily; explained the results of the service comprehensively and was professional and friendly. I strongly recommend BGE’s boiler service plan; I have had it for a number of years and have always had an excellent experience. In my view BGE is an excellent service provider with a proven track record.

The worst company I’ve come across in…

The worst company I’ve come across in my life! I have an email thread of over 50 emails dating back to February, I’ve provided multiple meter readings in multiple formats, I’ve confirmed my account details on several occasions and they continue to send me around in circles and will not update my reading / bill, which is “estimated” and triple what the bill should be. I’ve asked for an official case number so I can escalate to citizens information which still has not been provided. I had to chase for months for my account to even be fully set up on their side and now I’m wasting more time being given the runaround rather than answering my emails and resolving the issue.

My boiler broke down

My boiler broke down. In less than 24 hours there was an excellent engineer in my house. He was incredibly professional and meticulous. I really trusted his opinion and felt I wouldn’t be ripped off or conned like I might be with private companies.
