I have had an outstanding complaint unresloved since November 2024

I have had an outstanding complaint since November 2024. In the 1 year 1 was issued with two very large bills over 1k each time (I live in a 1 bed apartment and work in the office for reference) so this just did not make sense to me. The issue is still on going, that bill was suppose to be frozen until the issue was resolved but as of last week I am now down 1k as the amount was taken from my bank. I have found it very difficult or at all possible to get updates on this situation from the complaint team. the Customer service operators have tired their best to help but as there is no direct contact to the complaint team this issue is just causing unnecessary stress and anxiety.

I am really happy with the level of customer service Bord Gais provides. Also, the Electricity and Gas rates are good!

EXPERIENCE.

Been a customer of Bord Gais for a good number of years. Nothing to complain about, but we can't enjoy some of the benefits offered to new customers.

I like the level pay option and…

I like the level pay option and unfortunately this is not an option with smart metre plans. Also I like the discounts for paperless etc. However, there should be greater incentives and offers for valued loyal customers. All offers are directed towards switches and nothing given annually to encourage people to stay or when they stay.

Fast service

Only had to wait about 5 minutes on the line to get through. But once through, customer care handled everything promptly. On other occasions in the past I was on hold for 30 minutes or more. I hope all future calls are answered this quick. Thanks

Tina show ruined by drunks

We went to see Tina and great show however is was spoiled by unruly people on the audience right from beginning they were loud and obnoxious, they were given a warning during the interval but only got worse afterwards when a person behind asked them to stop and he'll broke out fair play to the star she continued though it all and then the person complaining was one who was ejected,the problem is Bord gais use young teenagers as stewards who cannot control these people the tickets were dear enough without drunken people ruining it for everyone

Bord Gais Experience

There is no spend Analysis given on the bill. Electric Ireland provides a detailed analysis on where the spend is happening like Fridge, Boiler, Hob, Washing Machine etc., would be good if this is implemented. Bord Gais app is just blank with zero features, it only shows the current outstanding bill or previous bill and nothing else. Such a waste of app with zero use. Even with 32% discount my bills are as same as my previous service provider with 16% discount with higher unit rate.
