I entered the Boost Mobile store…

I entered the Boost Mobile store located on Clark Street in Chicago with the intention of purchasing a Motorola Razor 2025. My objective was to acquire the phone without any service, as I was already subscribed to Metro PCS. However, since the store did not have the phone in stock, I bought it at full price out the door. I informed the sales associate of my wish to purchase solely the device, but she persistently attempted to persuade me to sign up for a service plan. I declined her offers, yet she informed me that if I paid for the phone, I would not have to worry about a monthly bill. When I inquired about the cost, she quoted a monthly fee of $55. I questioned why I could not opt for the $35 plan. She explained that the phone I was using required that specific plan but assured me that they would manage it, and I would not be responsible for any payment until September, at which point the phone would be unlocked. Her rationale for this was unclear, yet I went ahead and completed the purchase. Upon attempting to set up my account with Total Wireless, I encountered difficulties and had to reach out to customer service. After nearly an hour on the phone, my account was finally established, albeit with four numbers associated with it despite my recent purchase. I shared my concerns with the representative, who indicated that this was a tactic used to maintain their commissions, so she removed the numbers off my account. Now, two weeks following my purchase, my bill came due, prompting me to switch plans to keep my phone operational. I contacted customer service once more to request that they unlock my phone so I could transfer my number. To my dismay, they informed me that this was not permitted because I had only recently acquired the phone. I was advised that I would need to wait until August 14th to pay $150 for the unlock or until September 14th to transfer my number. Frustrated, I ended the call. This serves as a warning to anyone considering Boost Mobile: their employees have considerable control over your phone and you may find yourself burdened with unforeseen bills. Their practices can be deceitful, and they appear focused on scamming customers to meet their commission targets. Additionally, I would like to note that the same individuals who operate this store also work at the Lincolnwood Mall location. Exercise caution. Oh i almost forgot i took pictures of the numbers that was under my account and she signed the receipt saying the phone is paid off upon the agreement we made.

My order was delayed by 2 weeks

My order was delayed by 2 weeks I had to pay for an additional month from my previous provider. I informed Boost of inconvenience of the $55 cost. They only credit me $5. Wow what a disappointment

Worse place I ever dealt with.

WOW, boost mobile got the win with the absolute worse phone company I ever dealt with. Boost mobiles name should be switched to VERIFICATION MOBILE. I drove roughly 20 miles round trip to a mall so they can verify it's me? The girl at the shop was extremely rude. So i tried to get my phone ported yet again the next day and they wanted to verify it's me? Seriously. The "friendly" agent I talked with said (your verification) only lasts for one day and I need to go back to the boost store and get verified yet again? THIS IS TRUE AND NO JOKE. If you port to this place be prepared and get DNA and fingerprints to take with you to a boost mobile place in your area and find a hotel near boost mobile as I can assure you they will want to see you.

THE DISH REP THAT CAME TO MY HOME WAS VERY NICE AND HELPFUL ,THO WE WORKED VERY HARD TO RESOLVE THE PROBLEM TAKING ABOUT THREE HOURS ONLY TO FIND OUT THAT THE PIN THAT GOES IN THE SIDE OF THE PHONE WAS BAD AND HAD TO BE REPLACED. IT TOOK ABOUT FIVE DAYS FOR THEM TO GET ME A NEW PIN ,AFTER RECEIVING THE NEW PIN EVERYTHING WENT FINE.MY PHONE IS WORKING GREAT RIGHT NOW. TOM LIVELY

Try, try again until you get someone to listen.

I like the IPHONE deals you have but my initial order was a little screwed up because of a policy you have not to look into a problem shipment for 10 days. Come to find out I didn’t receive an email from you in the first 24 to 72 hours after ordering, which I called and complained about, but was told I had to wait 10 days for someone to look into it. I called back and was told 10 business days. When someone realized what, I had not been notified of purchase, they transferred me to someone who could help me get the IPhone shipped to me. Took a few phone calls of aggravation but finally not the, must wait 10 days line without listening to what I was saying…

My subcription is for three lines where…

My subcription is for three lines where one comes free as per the offer. However despite many calls to your customer service I am always charged for three lines instead of two. I earnestly request you to inquire and fix this issue once and for all. This is a very bad expereince

Happy Customer

Easy transition from previous top carrier and no interruption to service. In fact much higher data speeds with Boost and less dead zones. Best value for the dollar with Boost.

I think her name was evelyn. I can’t quite remember but she was so patient especially with this old man who didn’t speak english, she helped him and took her time to explain to him several times. She was very kind and spoke to me in a good tone and smiled the entire time. Give this woman a raise.

Ready to cancel after barley 3 days of signing up…

After barley 3 days of signing up already ready to cancel this unlimited data crap plan which should not be called boost...I called to trouble with tech support and on 4th day still nothing and even gave it two more days to see if troubleshooting works but now it went from slow to completely not working at all. There way more details but would take a month type complain about. They didn't know I have ISP experience and I was smart to recognize that the troubleshooting they use is for dumb people that don't realize it's not there phones fault it's there equipment but it's all about money cover up and making sure no one is using up too much on the towers so they can "boost" the big paying accounts.
