Practical training & Summative

I had my practical training, as well as plumbing & s&y with Stuart. Lessons felt very relaxed and if anyone didn't understand he would always show you again, but if someone still couldn't grasp it, he would have another way to explain/show which you would understand. Its made me have a whole new level of confidence in passing this course. Also had my summative with Stuart and Adam. They gave you a lot of support and guidance but you still always did the work yourself, which is good.

Gas Training

Been doing my gas training with Access and it’s been a great experience so far - the webinars with Andy Sibley were brilliant - he’s a really knowledgeable guy with lots of experience in the field to draw from, and his webinars are really informative and helpful, a great introduction to the course and the trade as a whole. He will take the time to explain things in detail if you don’t quite understand and even though the webinars can be quite long, he breaks them up by having a laugh and a bit of banter with everyone in the class. Really approachable guy who creates a relaxed, supportive and informative learning environment. The practical gas training at the Edenbridge Centre with Stuart Sutton and Adam Lee was fantastic too - again, two really knowledgeable tutors with heaps of experience in the trade who both go to great lengths to support everyone in the class and equip you with all the training you need to succeed in both the course and out in the field once qualified. Stuart was great when I was struggling with the pipe bending aspect of the training - I was absolutely hopeless at first but he went out of his way to make sure I left the training centre at the end of the week fully confident in pipe bending having taken the time to teach me the techniques in a way that I better understood. Adam was brilliant during the assessment week in helping me navigate my write-ups for my portfolio - any questions that I had he was more than happy to take the time to answer them in detail, or if there was anything I didn’t understand about the formatting or layout of the portfolio he would sit down and walk me through it. I’m now onto the portfolio stage of my training before taking my ACS and I couldn’t feel better equipped for it thanks to the help of these guys. Great course, great people!

ACS gas revision

Have just been doing my ACS gas revision. Andy Sibley has been a brilliant tutor all through the course. He explains things clearly, makes the webinars fun, is engaging and is just a great teacher. He has also taken time to personally help me a few times, which is very kind and generous. Thanks Andy..

Made an online enquiry regarding plumbing course

Made an online enquiry regarding enrolling for a plumbing course, a lovely guy called Keith reached out to me, broke everything down explained everything clearly and advised many possibilities on how to go forwards with then. Unfortunately due to personal reasons I cannot go ahead with this, but I would highly recommend enquiring with them about any training purposes, and will be contacting in the future when my current situation has improved. Thank you Keith for all your advise and support regarding this enquiry.

Great electrical practical with Aaron

Great electrical practical training carried out by Aaron, plenty of knowledge and a very personable tutor at Welwyn Garden City. Learnt a great deal in a short period of time. Taught the curriculum and extra to make sure we add to the future of great electricians and not ones who end up on ‘Rogue Traders’! Would highly recommend using Access Training and will definitely be back in the future.

Electrical course

i'd highly recommend access training for a courses to anybody! just finished my webinar classes with Rob and Zakia, Rob's a excellent tutor who can breakdown technical parts of the theory an to explain the lesson's a lot simpler he goes through everything in great detail. if it wasn't for Rob and the hard work he puts in to deliver the lessons it would of been a struggle so thanks a lot!. thanks to Zakia for being there to help with questions I had with my exams or anything to do with the course. looking to get my exams booked in the next few weeks so then can move on to the practical side an continue towards my goal of being a electrician. thanks a lot guys!

Highly Recommended

I signed up and took the electrician course. The course lecturer Rob was great, he explained things very thoroughly. Also the course resources such as presentations are excellent and the fact the courses are recorded is fantastic and gives the extra time and confidence to progress to the exams when I am ready. The other participants of the course were OK but some were quite frustrating as they kept asking repeat questions or non relevant questions …. (IMO) …. But that is not the fault of Access Training - over all excellent experience and highly recommended

Post ACS review, Enrolled for Gas Course in 2022

Enrolled for Gas Course in 2022, Online webinars, in person practical, portfolio support and reviews multiple times as needed, All went well. ACS theory passed/done after a year gap (due to personal reasons), still passed in first attempt as really good online webinar recordings, practice exams test made available to me. ACS practical passed, Now able to register with Gas Safe. Access Edenbridge(John, Guy, Steve, Cedric) were really helpful through my engagement with them.

Electrical assessment at Welwyn Garden!

Once again I write to praise this company and how they operate, my account manager Joe has gone out of his way to make sure I am able to achieve my goal, Aaron, Brian, Sheila and Rob are brilliant, making sure I do it right, I have just finished my assessment after Practical training, there was no rush or pushing to get it done, we were allowed to work at our own pace, big shout to Shiela who has the patience of a saint! She was so helpful and knowledgeable it made the assessment for me flow so well, Don’t listen to the doubters, they’re the ones who want it handed to them in a plate, this is the best decision I made!

Back for a second time…

I completely my professional plumbing course with access training several years ago. I am now back for a second time to complete my gas safe qualifications. This time round I am being taught by Steve Sovitch who has a great deal of experience and knowledge. Although he is not a trained teacher he does a fantastic job of communicating complicated topics, simplifying them and marrying them up to real life experiences. All of which help students to better digest and understand things. I am very happy with access training once again and would encourage anyone to give them a go.
