Access Training is exceptionally well-rated by customers. Customers particularly appreciate professional and service, though some mention concerns about communication and expensive.
I had my practical training, as well as plumbing & s&y with Stuart. Lessons felt very relaxed and if anyone didn't understand he would always show you again, but if someone still couldn't grasp it, he would have another way to explain/show which you would understand. Its made me have a whole new level of confidence in passing this course. Also had my summative with Stuart and Adam. They gave you a lot of support and guidance but you still always did the work yourself, which is good.
Been doing my gas training with Access and it’s been a great experience so far - the webinars with Andy Sibley were brilliant - he’s a really knowledgeable guy with lots of experience in the field to draw from, and his webinars are really informative and helpful, a great introduction to the course and the trade as a whole. He will take the time to explain things in detail if you don’t quite understand and even though the webinars can be quite long, he breaks them up by having a laugh and a bit of banter with everyone in the class. Really approachable guy who creates a relaxed, supportive and informative learning environment.
The practical gas training at the Edenbridge Centre with Stuart Sutton and Adam Lee was fantastic too - again, two really knowledgeable tutors with heaps of experience in the trade who both go to great lengths to support everyone in the class and equip you with all the training you need to succeed in both the course and out in the field once qualified. Stuart was great when I was struggling with the pipe bending aspect of the training - I was absolutely hopeless at first but he went out of his way to make sure I left the training centre at the end of the week fully confident in pipe bending having taken the time to teach me the techniques in a way that I better understood. Adam was brilliant during the assessment week in helping me navigate my write-ups for my portfolio - any questions that I had he was more than happy to take the time to answer them in detail, or if there was anything I didn’t understand about the formatting or layout of the portfolio he would sit down and walk me through it. I’m now onto the portfolio stage of my training before taking my ACS and I couldn’t feel better equipped for it thanks to the help of these guys. Great course, great people!
Have just been doing my ACS gas revision. Andy Sibley has been a brilliant tutor all through the course. He explains things clearly, makes the webinars fun, is engaging and is just a great teacher. He has also taken time to personally help me a few times, which is very kind and generous. Thanks Andy..
Paul who was doing the webinars was very good, lots of interaction with questions and his all round knowledge. Made this an enjoyable course to do so great experience
Joined access training to do my domestic gas course in September. Just completed my 3rd week of practical in Manchester. So lucky to have Tony taylor as my gas tutor. His knowledge is amazing, his teaching style is great and fills us with knowledge and confidence. Can't wait to come back for assessment week. I would definitely recommend this course.
I’ve recently joined the training and so far I’m impressed, lessons are easy and understandable, would really recommend to anyone thinking of starting.
Liverpool & Manchester Training centers - Amazing !
Recently completed my practical training for the core electrics course that is run by Access Training. I went to the training centre in Manchester, my tutors were Glynn & Chris. They were absolutely amazing, not just their knowledge, but real life experience, passing on site tips throughout my two weeks. Their teaching technique works so well, taking a group of no experience beginners and giving them the confidence and know-how, so that by the end of the two weeks we were installing and testing like we had been doing it for years. I can't speak for the other training centres but Manchester is superb. They had so much patience with us and if we were struggling they took the time to help. I would highly recommend the Manchester training centre, Glynn actually runs the Liverpool centre normally as well so I would have no hesitation recommending both. Thank you so much for everything guys, your training, advice and tips will stay with me throughout my new career. 5 stars all the way.
Great experience with Adam Lee training ar Access …
Have just finished a week of training and ACS assessments with Adam Lee , and what a superb experience. He is the most patient , knowledgeable and fun trainer I have had ( having said that I could also say the same for Stuart Sutton his colleague, who I trained with previously). Adam is extremely patient with those who may struggle a little for example with calculations or lack of plumbing experience , but never makes anyone feel nervous about asking questions. That is the sign of a good trainer who will maximise results. Thank you Adam. Also having finished the work and course I then spoke to the admin / head office support ( I do apologise. As I didn’t ask your name , could be Lauren ? ) about the work experience and she explained very clearly how this would be arranged. So thank you for that also. Great team !
Detailed learning in a flexible accessible format with a great teacher
I signed up to Access training for plumbing not really knowing what to expect. I thought a lot of it would be self-study using the recommended book, but I have been so impressed with the online webinars and provided handouts. Paul maintains a professional and enthusiastic and very informative style of teaching, showing examples, and linking to actual stories of his experiences in the plumbing trade. I am a complete novice, and also probably older than most on the course (aged 57) but have been absorbed in the webinars and looking forward to the practical aspects once I pass my exams. I have a full time job, so I have found it really useful to watch parts of the webinars when I can, and go over sections if I need to. I like the pace of the webinars, they are exactly right in order to learn as you go along. The Access training portal is really good and reliable and easy to find what you want. So far I am very impressed and keen to progress to the next step.
Had 2 and a half weeks of online webinars with Paul Kelly, I have never learnt so much in a short period.
Paul connected the learning with stories and it made it easier for me to learn.
Thanks a lot Paul, i will see you in Edenbridge for the practical.
Excellent training by Paul who is not just hugely knowledgeable and experienced but brings things to life in a very engaging way. The syllabus is comprehensive and you can keep watching te replays of the seminars.
