Be very careful with this company, wanted to check when my MOT was due, somehow managed to get onto this site. I now find that they are taking £7.95 a month out of my account. This is definitely scam country.

If I could give them ZERO stars - I would! I'm another deceived person to add to the queue of people here. We clicked on what we thought was a link to tax a car and then got this sh*t! Very deceitful way of marketing themselves as a government website for car tax. Got charged £7.95 for some BS subscription. They would not budge and stated their system is very clearly....very clearly meant to deceive more like! AVOID AVOID AVOID!

Money I did not authorise taken from my bank
I taxed my car on line in July I initially believed I was on the official DVLA website. I then found myself on vehicleinquiry uk with a fee of 7:85 charged The first month I accepted this as my mistake.I then had a further 7.85 taken from my account in August. So after much detective work I found the website and pressed 'cancel my account'. I have checked my account this evening only to discover this amount is still being taken from my account.I also discovered it is not being categorised as either a Direct Debit or Standirg Order,both of which I could have cancelled myself directly through my online banking system Ivfeel I am owed £15.37p Any ideas how I get my money bac

Would like to know where your company…
Would like to know where your company gets off charging me £7.95 fora service I never requested as I eas on the government website paying for what I believed was my yearly tax to find this charge on my credit card which I will be reporting to my credit card company as fraud as well. Very displeased this has happened. How many other unsuspecting individuals are getting duped by this!!

I wasn't happy about being seamlessly directed from gov.uk site to vehicle information.uk site. It asked for payment information which is easily confusing when you go on to gov.uk expecting to pay your vehicle tax online. Then it's not clear that you still haven't paid your tax! Equally culpable is the gov.uk tax payment portal, who have clearly bought into this diversion. Both sites need to be much more explicit about exactly what is happening. I've ended being charged for a service I didn't want. Be aware there are quite a few scammer sites out there, (Check My Car being one), offering the same service and operating in very similar ways.
