I would give zero stars if I could. This has been, without a doubt, the worst purchasing experience I’ve ever had.
Timeline of This Nightmare Order:
15/01 – Placed my order, expecting delivery within 5-15 days.
22/01 – Had to follow up myself to be told there was a delay (with no prior notification). New estimated delivery: 10/02.
05/02 – Another delay, now expected 20/02. Again, no proactive communication—I had to ask.
25/02 – Asked where my order was, only to be told they had no idea when it would arrive. No updates unless I chased them.
07/03 – Delivery scheduled, but never arrived. Was told 4-8 PM, then 9 PM, then at 8:30 PM got a call saying it wasn’t happening. I had taken the day off to wait for it. They promised I was now a “priority” customer.
10/03 – Their version of a “priority” delivery? The next available slot was 18/03—another 8-day wait.
19/03 – Finally arrived, a staggering 62 days after ordering (instead of the promised 5-15 days).
And to Make Matters Worse…
After all this, the wooden base had multiple faults, scuffs, and marks. I reached out for some form of compensation—a partial refund or even a voucher—but Wooden Furniture Store refused outright.
For a purchase of £850, this level of service is absolutely disgraceful. The constant delays, lack of communication, false promises, and refusal to take responsibility make me strongly advise against buying from this company. Spend your money elsewhere—this business does not care about its customers.
