I accidentally purchased 6 bottles of wine as opposed to the 1 I wanted to complete my locker (I absolutely love the locker feature!) and I was refunded for the 5. I was so appreciative of this gesture!! The only thing I wasn’t thrilled about was the tax amount wasn’t refunded but I was so happy to receive the refund for the 5 bottles, I wasn’t going to say anything!
I have been very pleased with my Wine Spies experience. First off, the write ups are so entertaining! I know there is probably a certain level of BS in them but it is still fun and creates curiosity to try some cool wines! We have not been disappointed in anything I have gotten. Some were certainly not as good as the hype but we all have different palates and they have certainly been drinkable. No drain pours! I did have a bit of a hiccup in my first shipping because I received an update that it was out for delivery and then it didn’t show up - for 3 days. I let Wine Spies know and they responded immediately. It was impressive. Someone had just pressed the wrong update button. It all arrived safe and sound!! They have been pretty impressive so far.
I have been ordering from Wine Spies for years. You find some amazing wines and even better deal! Wines Spies offers many different options, pricing and discounts. Even better is their service. They are fantastic at answering questions and offering help. Very importantly, they are exceptional at handling changes in shipping dates, addresses etc. I could not recommend more highly.

ITs good to have an email daily for what will be on sale that day. It usually comes around the same time each day with a nice description of the wine. Shipping a case is a great way to go with no shipping costs. The locker is a great idea. You just need to know that when the second locker is full (12 bottles), at least one will ship automatically.
One of the few sites online that offer high quality wines at very reasonable prices.
I personally prefer 92 points and above and Wine Spies seem to offer more of those quality wines with better price points than most other distributors. My only negative is that once you fill your locker (once you purchase 12 bottles shipping is free) it just goes right to shipping and is very difficult to choose the ship date that works best for you. Overall the positives far outweigh the negatives.
